पाब्बी-एंटी-टेरर 2021: भारत, पाकिस्तान और चीन ने किया आतंकवाद-रोधी अभ्यास

• आठ सदस्यीय ब्लॉक ने कहा कि संयुक्त अभ्यास 'पाब्बी-एंटी-टेरर 2021’ आयोजित करने का निर्णय उज्बेकिस्तान के ताशकंद में आयोजित क्षेत्रीय आतंकवाद विरोधी संरचना परिषद (RATS) की 36 वीं बैठक के दौरान घोषित किया गया था। भारत, पाकिस्तान और चीन सहित शंघाई सहयोग संगठन (Shanghai Cooperation Organisation) के सदस्य इस साल संयुक्त आतंकवाद-रोधी अभ्यास करेंगे।
• “आतंकवादी गतिविधियों को वित्तपोषित करने वाले चैनलों की पहचान करने और दबाने के लिए SCO सदस्य राज्यों के सक्षम अधिकारियों के बीच सहयोग में सुधार करने के निर्णय लिए गए हैं। बैठक में भारत, कजाकिस्तान, चीन, किर्गिज गणराज्य, पाकिस्तान, रूस, तजाकिस्तान, उज्बेकिस्तान और RATS कार्यकारी समिति के सक्षम अधिकारियों के प्रतिनिधि शामिल हुए।

पावरग्रिड ने लॉन्च किया ई-टेंड्रिंग पोर्टल ‘प्रणीत’

• पावर ग्रिड कॉरपोरेशन ऑफ इंडिया (POWERGRID) ने टेंडरिंग प्रक्रिया को और अधिक पारदर्शी बनाने के लिए 'प्रणीत (PRANIT)’ नामक एक “ई-टेंडरिंग पोर्टल” लॉन्च किया है। पोर्टल "प्रणीत" में कम कागजी कार्रवाई शामिल होगी और संचालन में आसानी होगी, जो बदले में निविदा प्रक्रिया को अधिक पारदर्शी बना देगा।
• इलेक्ट्रॉनिक्स और सूचना प्रौद्योगिकी मंत्रालय, भारत सरकार के तहत पोर्टल को मानकीकरण, परीक्षण और गुणवत्ता प्रमाणन निदेशालय (Standardisation, Testing and Quality Certification Directorate -STQC) द्वारा प्रमाणित किया गया है। POWERGRID भारत का एकमात्र संगठन है, जिसका SAP सप्लायर रिलेशनशिप मैनेजमेंट (SRM) पर ई-प्रोक्योरमेंट सॉल्यूशन है, जो STQC द्वारा निर्धारित सुरक्षा और पारदर्शिता से संबंधित सभी अनुकूल आवश्यकताओं का अनुपालन करता है।

 आंध्र प्रदेश शुरू करेगा भारत का पहला सरकार संचालित पशु एम्बुलेंस नेटवर्क

• आंध्र प्रदेश की राज्य सरकार ने जानवरों के लिए "भारत का पहला सरकार द्वारा संचालित एम्बुलेंस नेटवर्क" स्थापित करने का निर्णय लिया है। राज्य में पशुपालन और पशु चिकित्सा क्षेत्र को और बढ़ावा देने के लिए यह निर्णय लिया गया है। एम्बुलेंस नेटवर्क संकटग्रस्त जानवरों तक पहुंचने में मदद करने के लिए उन्हें उचित पशु स्वास्थ्य देखभाल प्रदान करने के लिए अपने मुख्य मिशनों में से एक के रूप में है। पशुपालन विभाग को प्रत्येक विधानसभा क्षेत्र में एक मोबाइल एम्बुलेंस पशु चिकित्सा क्लिनिक स्थापित करने के लिए निर्देशित किया गया था।
• पशु एम्बुलेंस नेटवर्क के तहत, 175 मोबाइल एम्बुलेंस (पशु चिकित्सा) क्लीनिकों को विधानसभा क्षेत्र में रखा जाएगा। ये क्लीनिक 108 सेवाओं की तर्ज पर स्थापित किये जा रहे हैं।
• ये मोबाइल एम्बुलेंस पशुचिकित्सा प्राथमिक उपचार सेवाएं प्रदान करेंगी, साथ ही स्पॉट निदान और सभी आपातकालीन मामलों में भाग लेंगे। एम्बुलेंस जानवरों को उठाने और आपातकालीन मामलों में उन्हें निकटतम सरकारी पशु चिकित्सा सुविधा में स्थानांतरित करने के लिए “हाइड्रोलिक लिफ्ट (Hydraulic Lift) सुविधा” प्रदान करेगी।
• प्रत्येक एम्बुलेंस में हमेशा एक पशु चिकित्सक, एक पैरा-पशु चिकित्सा कार्यकर्ता होगा।
• ये एम्बुलेंस 24/7 टोल-फ्री कॉल सेंटर भी चलाएंगी।
• पशुपालन विभाग ने ने सीएम को जानकारी दी कि राज्य भर में लगभग 1,576 पशु औषधालय स्थापित किए गए हैं, इन औषधालयों में लगभग 1,376 पशु चिकित्सकों की भर्ती की गई है।
• मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि बेहतर कामकाज और उपचार सुनिश्चित करने के लिए अधिक पशु चिकित्सकों की भर्ती की जाएगी।

 रमेश पोखरियाल ने नई दिल्ली में शहीद भगत सिंह स्मारक का उद्घाटन किया

• केंद्रीय शिक्षा मंत्री, श्री रमेश पोखरियाल 'निशंक' ने 23 मार्च, 2021 को नई दिल्ली में शहीद भगत सिंह स्मारक (Shaheed Bhagat Singh Smarak) का उद्घाटन किया।
• इसका उद्घाटन दिल्ली विश्वविद्यालय ने भारतीय राष्ट्रीय आंदोलन के हमारे राष्ट्रीय प्रतीक - शहीद भगत सिंह, सुखदेव थापर और शिवराम राजगुरु के शहादत के 90 वर्ष पूरे होने पर उन्हें श्रद्धांजलि देने के लिए 'शहीद दिवस' पर आयोजित एक कार्यक्रम में किया गया।

रॉयल लंदन कप 2021 के लिए श्रेयस अय्यर ने किया लंकाशायर के साथ करार

• इंग्लिश काउंटी लंकाशायर (Lancashire) ने 2021 रॉयल लंदन कप के लिए भारतीय बल्लेबाज श्रेयस अय्यर के विदेशी हस्ताक्षर की घोषणा की है। लंकाशायर के लिए हस्ताक्षर करने वाले अय्यर 6वें भारतीय बन गए हैं।
• 50 ओवर के टूर्नामेंट की शुरुआत से पहले अय्यर 15 जुलाई को ओल्ड ट्रैफर्ड पहुंचेंगे और महीने भर के ग्रुप स्टेज की अवधि के लिए लंकाशायर के साथ रहेंगे। शीर्ष क्रम के बल्लेबाज को भारतीय क्रिकेट में सबसे आक्रामक और धाराप्रवाह खिलाड़ी माना जाता है और उन्होंने अपने देश के लिए 21 वनडे और 29 T20 अंतर्राष्ट्रीय मैच खेले हैं।

• भारतीय पैरा-एथलीट सिंहराज (Singhraj) ने संयुक्त अरब अमीरात में अल ऐन में 2021 पैरा शूटिंग वर्ल्ड कप में स्वर्ण पदक जीता। उन्होंने P1 - मेन्स 10 मीटर एयर पिस्टल SH1 फाइनल में शीर्ष सम्मान पाने के लिए उज्बेकिस्तान के सर्वर इब्रागिमोव (Server Ibragimov) को हराया।
• सिंहराज ने रियो 2016 के कांस्य पदक विजेता इब्रागिमोव को 2.8 अंकों के छोटे से अंतर से पछाड़ दिया। अंतिम स्कोर 236.8-234 था। तुर्की के पूर्व पैरालिंपिक चैंपियन मुहर्रम कोरान यामको ने 214.4 अंकों के साथ कांस्य पदक जीता। इसके साथ ही भारत पदक तालिका में तीसरे स्थान पर आ गया है। भारत की सूची में अब दो पदक हैं - एक स्वर्ण और एक कांस्य।

• दासता के शिकार और ट्रांसलेटैटिक दास व्यापार के स्मरण का अंतर्राष्ट्रीय दिवस प्रति वर्ष 25 मार्च को मनाया जाता है। यह दिन उन लोगों को सम्मानित करने और याद करने का अवसर प्रदान करता है जो क्रूर गुलामी प्रणाली के हाथों पीड़ित और मारे गए। अंतर्राष्ट्रीय दिवस का उद्देश्य आज नस्लवाद और पूर्वाग्रह के खतरों के बारे में जागरूकता बढ़ाना है।
• 2021 थीम: "दासता की विरासत को खत्म करना जातिवाद: न्याय के लिए एक वैश्विक साम्राज्यवादी"।

भारत और जापान ने पेटेंट सत्यापन में सहयोग के लिए सहमती जताई

• भारत और जापान किसी भी अंतरराष्ट्रीय पेटेंट आवेदन के लिए “सक्षम अंतर्राष्ट्रीय खोज और अंतर्राष्ट्रीय प्रारंभिक परीक्षा प्राधिकरण (ISA / IPEA)” के रूप में सहयोग करने के लिए एक दूसरे के कार्यालयों को मान्यता देने के लिए सहमत हुए हैं। औद्योगिक संपत्ति पर सहयोग के ज्ञापन के तहत उद्योग और आंतरिक व्यापार संवर्धन विभाग (DPIIT) और जापान पेटेंट कार्यालय (JPO) की चौथी समीक्षा बैठक के दौरान समझौते पर हस्ताक्षर किए गए थे।
• भारत ने तीन साल के लिए पायलट आधार पर PPH में प्रवेश के लिए भारतीय पेटेंट कार्यालय (IPO) और JPO के बीच एक समझौता ज्ञापन को मंजूरी दी थी। यह एक पारस्परिक व्यवस्था है, इसलिए JPO, IPO से प्राप्त सकारात्मक परीक्षा परिणामों का उपयोग करके एक जापानी एप्लिकेशन के अभियोजन को गति देने में भी सक्षम होगा। IPO केवल कुछ तकनीकी क्षेत्रों जैसे भौतिकी, कंप्यूटर विज्ञान, आईटी, इलेक्ट्रॉनिक्स, धातु विज्ञान और ऑटोमोबाइल में पेटेंट अनुप्रयोगों के लिए त्वरण की पेशकश करेगा।

 केन बेतवा लिंक परिय़ोजना के लिए UP-MP सरकार के बीच समझौता ज्ञापन

• विश्व जल दिवस के अवसर पर, उत्तर प्रदेश और मध्य प्रदेश की सरकारों ने केन-बेतवा नदी इंटरलिंकिंग परियोजना (Ken-Betwa river interlinking project) को लागू करने के लिए केंद्रीय जलशक्ति मंत्रालय (Union Ministry of Jal Shakti) के साथ एक समझौते पर हस्ताक्षर किए। इस परियोजना का मुख्य उद्देश्य नदियों के बीच के क्षेत्र के माध्यम से अधिशेष क्षेत्रों से सूखाग्रस्त क्षेत्रों और जल-दुर्लभ क्षेत्र तक पानी पहुंचाना है।
• अधिशेष जल मध्य प्रदेश में पन्ना जिले में केन नदी से उत्तर प्रदेश में बेतवा नदी में स्थानांतरित किया जाएगा।
• परियोजना उत्तर प्रदेश के बुंदेलखंड क्षेत्र को लाभ पहुंचाएगी, जिससे पानी की कमी दूर होगी और इस प्रकार इस क्षेत्र में समृद्धि आएगी।
• धौदन बांध और 221 किलोमीटर लंबी नहर के निर्माण के माध्यम से पानी को स्थानांतरित किया जाएगा।
• केन-बेतवा लिंक परियोजना उत्तर प्रदेश को 2.51 लाख हेक्टेयर, 1,700 मिलियन क्यूबिक मीटर (एमसीएम) पानी की वार्षिक सिंचाई और लगभग 62 लाख लोगों को पेयजल आपूर्ति प्रदान करेगी और साथ ही 103 मेगावाट जलविद्युत उत्पादन भी करेगी।

व्यास सम्मान 2020 के लिए हिंदी लेखक प्रो शरद पगारे को चुना गया

• जाने-माने हिंदी लेखक, प्रो शरद पगारे को प्रतिष्ठित व्यास सम्मान - 2020 से सम्मानित किया जाएगा। उन्हें उनके उपन्यास "पाटलिपुत्रु के साम्रगी" के लिए 31 वें व्यास सम्मान से सम्मानित किया जाएगा।
• 1991 में शुरू किया गया व्यास सम्मान, केके बिड़ला फाउंडेशन द्वारा पिछले 10 वर्षों के दौरान प्रकाशित एक भारतीय नागरिक द्वारा लिखित हिंदी में उत्कृष्ट साहित्यिक कार्य के लिए दिया गया है। यह एक प्रशस्ति पत्र और पट्टिका के साथ चार लाख रुपये का पुरस्कार प्रदान करता है।

Pabbi-Anti-Terror 2021: India, Pakistan and China to hold anti-terror exercise

• The eight-member bloc said that the decision to hold the joint exercise ‘Pabbi-Anti-Terror 2021’ was announced during the 36th meeting of the Council of the Regional Anti-Terrorist Structure (RATS) held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. Members of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation, including India, Pakistan and China, will hold a joint anti-terrorism exercise this year.
• “Decisions have been made to improve cooperation between the competent authorities of the SCO member states in identifying and suppressing channels that finance terrorist activities. Delegations of the competent authorities of India, Kazakhstan, China, the Kyrgyz Republic, Pakistan, Russia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and the RATS Executive Committee attended the meeting.

POWERGRID Launches Certified E-Tendering Portal “PRANIT”

• Power Grid Corporation of India (POWERGRID) has launched an “e-Tendering Portal” called ‘PRANIT’ to make the tendering process more transparent. The portal ”PRANIT” will involve less paperwork and allow ease of operation, which in turn will make the tendering process more transparent.
• The portal has been certified by Standardisation, Testing and Quality Certification Directorate (STQC), under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, GoI. POWERGRID is the only organization in India to have an e-procurement solution on SAP Supplier Relationship Management (SRM), complying with all applicable requirements relating to security and transparency as stipulated by STQC.

Andhra Pradesh to launch India’s first Govt-Run Animal Ambulance Network

• The state government of Andhra Pradesh has decided to set up “India’s first government-run ambulance network” for animals. This decision was taken in order to further boost the animal husbandry and veterinary sector in the state. Ambulance network as one of its main missions in order to help in reaching out to the distressed animals to provide them with proper animal healthcare. The Animal Husbandry Department was directed to set up one Mobile Ambulance Veterinary Clinic at each of the assembly constituency.
• A total of 175 mobile ambulances (veterinary) clinics will be placed at Assembly Constituency Level on the lines of 108 Services for providing Veterinary services at the doorstep.
• These mobile ambulances shall provide veterinary first aid services along with spot diagnosis and attending to emergency cases. One of the major facilities these ambulances will provide is the ‘Hydraulic Lift’ facility to lift animals and shift them to the nearest Government Veterinary Facility in case of emergency.
• One veterinary doctor, One Para-veterinary worker, will be assigned to every ambulance.
• These ambulances will also have a 24/7 toll-free call centre.
• The department of Animal Husbandry has briefed CM that there are around 1576 veterinary dispensaries established across the state, with around 1376 veterinary doctors recruited.
• The chief minister said that more veterinary doctors need access to better functioning and better treatment.

Ramesh Pokhriyal inaugurates Shaheed Bhagat Singh Smarak in New Delhi

• The Union Minister of Education, Shri Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’, virtually inaugurated the Shaheed Bhagat Singh Smarak in New Delhi on March 23, 2021.
• The inauguration took place on the occasion of a programme organised by the University of Delhi on ‘Shaheed Diwas’ to pay homage and commemorate 90 years of martyrdom of our national icons of the Indian National Movement –Shaheed Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev Thapar and Shivaram Rajguru.

Shreyas Iyer Signs Up With Lancashire For Royal London Cup 2021

• English county Lancashire has announced the overseas signing of India batsman Shreyas Iyer for the 2021 Royal London Cup. Iyer becomes 6th Indian to sign for Lancashire. Iyer will arrive at Old Trafford on July 15 ahead of the start of the 50-over tournament and will remain with Lancashire for the duration of the month-long group stage. The top-order batsman is regarded as one of the most attacking and fluent stroke players in Indian cricket and he has played in 21 ODIs and 29 T20 Internationals for his country.
• The signing of Shreyas Iyer signals the latest step in Lancashire's long association with Indian cricket, which stretches back more than 50 years when India wicketkeeper-batsman Farokh Engineer joined the county in 1968. He would go on to become a Lancashire legend and now serves as a vice-president of the club. Since Engineer retired, four other Indian players -- Murali Kartik, Dinesh Mongia, VVS Laxman, and Sourav Ganguly -- have represented Lancashire.

 India’s Singhraj wins gold in Para Shooting World Cup 2021

• Indian para-athlete Singhraj won the gold medal in the 2021 Para Shooting World Cup at Al Ain in the UAE. He defeated Uzbekistan’s Server Ibragimov to get the top honour in the P1 – Men’s 10m Air Pistol SH1 final.
• Singhraj pipped Rio 2016 bronze medallist Ibragimov by a thin margin of 2.8 points. The final score read 236.8-234. Turkey’s former Paralympic champion Muharrem Korhan Yamaç took the bronze with 214.4 points. With this, India has moved to third place in the medals table. India has now two medals on its list – one gold and one bronze.

International Day of Remembrance of the Victims of Slavery and the Transatlantic Slave Trade

• International Day of Remembrance of the Victims of Slavery and the Transatlantic Slave Trade is observed annually on 25th March every year. This day offers the opportunity to honour and remember those who suffered and died at the hands of the brutal slavery system. International Day also aims to raise awareness about the dangers of racism and prejudice today.
• 2021 Theme: “Ending Slavery’s Legacy of Racism: A Global Imperative for Justice”
• International Day of Remembrance of the Victims of Slavery and the Transatlantic Slave Trade is a United Nations international observance designated in 2007 to be marked on 25 March every year. The day honours and remembers those who suffered and died as a consequence of the transatlantic slave trade, which has been called “the worst violation of human rights in history”, in which over 400 years more than 15 million men, women and children were the victims.

India, Japan agree for greater cooperation in patent verification

• India and Japan have agreed to recognize each other’s offices to act mutually as competent International Searching and International Preliminary Examining Authority (ISA/IPEA) for any international patent application filed with them. This memorandum of cooperation on the industrial property was arrived at during the 4th review meeting between DPIIT and Japan Patent Office.
• India had approved an MoC between the Indian Patent Office (IPO) and the JPO for entering into a PPH on a pilot basis for three years. This is a reciprocal arrangement, so the JPO will also be able to accelerate the prosecution of a Japanese application using positive examination results received from the IPO. The IPO will only offer acceleration for patent applications in certain technical fields such as physics, computer science, IT, electronics, metallurgy and automobiles.

UP and MP sign agreement with Jal Shakti Ministry for ‘Ken-Betwa Link’ project

• On the occasion of World Water Day, the governments of Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh signed an agreement with the Union Ministry of Jal Shakti to implement the Ken-Betwa river interlinking project. The main purpose of this project is to carry water from surplus regions to drought-prone and water-scarce region through the interlinking of rivers.
• The surplus water will be transferred from the Ken river in Panna district in Madhya Pradesh to the Betwa river in Uttar Pradesh.
• The project will benefit the Bundelkhand region of Uttar Pradesh, by resolving the water scarcity and thus bring prosperity to this region.
• The water will be transferred through the construction of the Dhaudan Dam and a 221 km-long canal.
• The Ken-Betwa Link Project will provide annual irrigation of 2.51 lakh hectares, 1,700 million cubic meters (mcm) of water to Uttar Pradesh and drinking water supply to about 62 lakh people and also generate 103 MW of hydropower.

Hindi Writer Prof. Sharad Pagare Selected for Vyas Samman 2020

• Well known Hindi writer, Prof. Sharad Pagare will be conferred with the prestigious Vyas Samman – 2020. He will be awarded the 31st Vyas Samman for his novel “Patliputru Ki Samragi”.
• The Vyas Samman started in 1991, is given by KK Birla Foundation for an outstanding literary work in Hindi authored by an Indian citizen published during the last 10 years. It carries an award of four lakh rupees along with a citation and plaque.
