राष्ट्रीय 

शपथ के साथ ही चौथी बार मध्यप्रदेश के मुख्यमंत्री बने शिवराज 

मध्यप्रदेश के सत्ता की बागडोर एक बार फिर शिवराज सिंह चौहान के हाथों में आ गई है. रात नौ बजे एक सादे सामारोह में राज्यपाल लालजी टंडन ने शिवराज सिंह चौहान को राज्य के मुख्यमंत्री की शपथ दिलवाई. एक साल तीन महीने और छह बाद एकबार फिर राज्य की कमान शिवराज सिंह चौहान के हाथों में है. देशभर में की महामारी को देखते हुए शिवराज का शपथ ग्रहण समारोह सिर्फ 6 मिनट तक चला. 

सोमवार शाम को विधायकों ने उन्हें अपना नेता चुना. विधायक दल की बैठक में भाजपा ने महासचिव अरुण सिंह और प्रदेश प्रभारी विनय सहस्त्रबुद्धे को ऑब्जर्वर नियुक्त किया था. दोनों नेता दिल्ली से वीडियो कॉन्फ्रेंसिंग के जरिए इस बैठक से जुड़े थे. वहीं भाजपा नेता गोपाल भार्गव ने भी विधानसभा में भी नेता प्रतिपक्ष के पद से भी इस्तीफा दे दिया है. 

। की जांच के लिए भारत ने अपनी टेस्टिंग किट तैयार कर ली है। दुनिया के कई देशों से पहले हमारे देश में की टेस्टिंग किट तैयार हो गई है। पुणे की मायलैब डिस्कवरी सॉल्यूशंस कंपनी ने इस स्वदेशी किट को तैयार किया है, जिसे सोमवार को कमर्शियल प्रोडक्शन यानी वाणिज्यिक निर्माण की अनुमति मिल गई है। अब देश में मरीजों की जांच की क्षमता काफी हद तक बढ़ जाएगी। के बढ़ते संक्रमण के बीच यह किट मील का पत्थर साबित हो सकती है। 

इलाज के लिए रिलायंस ने बनाया देश का पहला अस्पताल, 

मुकेश अंबानी (Mukesh Ambani) और नीता अंबानी (Nita Ambani) नीत रिलायंस फाउंडेशन (Reliance Foundation) ने मुंबई में देश का पहला ऐसा अस्पंताल बनाया है जो पूरी तरह से के मरीजों को समर्पित हैं. 100 बेड वाले इस सेंटर को सेवन हिल्सह अस्पसताल में बनाया गया है और यह सभी तरह की आधुनिक सुविधाओं से लैस है. इस अस्पलताल में के पॉजिटव मरीजों का इलाज किया जाएगा. 

इसके अलावा रिलायंस फाउंडेशन के मरीजों का इलाज कर रहे हेल्थज प्रोफेशनल्सत के लिए सुरक्षात्माक उपकरणों का निर्माण भी कर रहा है. 

इसके साथ ही आरआईएल ने के खिलाफ लड़ाई में महाराष्ट्रक सरकार की मदद करने का आश्वाससन भी दिया है. इसके लिए आरआईएल राज्यर सरकार के राहत कोष में 5 करोड़ रुपये का दान देगा. कंपनी के बयान के मुताबिक, "आरआईएल महाराष्ट्रा के मुख्यवमंत्री राहत कोष में शुरुआती 5 करोड़ रुपये दान देने का ऐलान किया है. 

भारत में IOC, BS-VI ईंधन की आपूर्ति करने वाली होगी पहली कंपनी 

भारत की सबसे बड़ी तेल कंपनी इंडियन ऑयल कॉर्पोरेशन लिमिटेड ने पूरे देश में BS-VI ईंधन की आपूर्ति करना शुरू कर दिया है। इसके साथ ही इंडियन ऑयल कॉर्पोरेशन लिमिटेड अपने 28,000 पेट्रोल पंपों पर BS-VI ईंधन की आपूर्ति शुरू करने वाली भारत की पहली कंपनी बन गई है। सरकार ने BS-VI उत्सर्जन अनुरूप ईंधन की आपूर्ति शुरू करने की समय सीमा 01 अप्रैल 2020 निर्धारित की है। भारत 01 अप्रैल 2020 से उन देशों चुनिंदा के ग्रुप में शामिल हो जाएगा उत्सर्जन में कटौती करने के लिए देश भर में वाहनों के लिए सबसे स्वच्छ पेट्रोल और डीजल का उपयोग कर रहे हैं। दिल्ली में यह समय सीमा अप्रैल 2019 तक भारत सरकार द्वारा लगाई गई थी। 

BS (Bharat Satge) -VI ग्रेड ईंधन दुनिया का सबसे साफ ईंधन है जिसमें सल्फर का प्रति मिलियन 10 हिस्सा है। भारत स्टेज- VI (BS-VI) में केवल 10 पीपीएम की सल्फर मात्रा है और जो उत्सर्जन मानक सीएनजी के समान अच्छे हैं। भारत में 01 अप्रैल, 2020 से वाहनों के उत्सर्जन की जांच करने के प्रयास में इसे अनिवार्य कर दिया गया है, जो प्रमुख शहरों में प्रदूषण के प्रमुख कारणों में से एक है। 

अंतरराष्ट्रीय 

मोदी सरकार ने बेल्जियम के साथ प्रत्यर्पण संधि के प्रस्ताव को दी स्वीकृति 

केंद्रीय कैबिनेट ने भारत और बेल्जियम के बीच प्रस्तावित प्रत्यर्पण संधि पर मुहर लगा दी। इस संधि के अमल में आने से दोनों देश अपने यहां अपराध करके फरार हुए भगोड़ों को एक-दूसरे को सौंप सकेंगे। कैबिनेट ने यह निर्णय शुक्रवार को लिया, शनिवार को इसकी घोषणा हुई है। 

प्रत्यर्पण संधि में उन्हीं अपराधों के आरोपियों को लिया-दिया जाता है जिनके लिए कानून में एक साल या इससे अधिक की सजा का प्रावधान होता है। संधि में शामिल देश की अदालत प्रत्यर्पण की अर्जी पर विचार करने के बाद फैसला किया। 

बैंकिंग और अर्थव्यवस्था 

RBI अग्रिम अर्थव्यवस्था को बढ़ावा देने के लिए बॉन्ड खरीदने का फैसला किया 

• रिजर्व बैंक ने संकट के बीच तीस हज़ार करोड़ रुपये से अधिक के बॉन्ड खरीदने का फैसला किया है। 

• रिजर्व बैंक के अनुसार 24 मार्च और 30 मार्च को दो किस्तों में 15-15 हजार करोड़ रुपये लगाए जाएंगे। 

• भारतीय रिजर्व बैंक संक्रमण के कारण वित्तीय स्थिरता बनाए रखने के लिए नकदी प्रवाह को बढ़ाएगा। के कारण दुनिया भर में अर्थव्यवस्था सुस्ती के दौर से गुजर रही है। 

यूबीएस ने भारत की सकल घरेलू उत्पाद की वास्तविक जीडीपी विकास दर को 4% पर आधारित किया 

• यूबीएस सिक्योरिटीज ने वित्त वर्ष 2015 के लिए भारत के विकास के अनुमान को पिछले 5.1% से 4% तक घटा दिया है। के प्रकोप के कारण यह कमी हो रही है। 

• UBS ने भारत को वित्त वर्ष 2020 में 4.8% तक बढ़ने की भविष्यवाणी की थी। 

भारत की आर्थिक विकास दर का अनुमान घटा 

Global rating agency Standard & Poor (S and P) : ग्लोबल रेटिंग एजेंसी स्टैंडर्ड एंड पुअर (एसएंडपी) ने सोमवार को वित्त वर्ष 2020-21 के लिए भारत की आर्थिक विकास दर का अनुमान घटाकर 5.2 प्रतिशत कर दिया। इससे पहले रेटिंग एजेंसी ने 6.5 फीसदी वृद्घि दर का अनुमान लगाया था। 

एसएंडपी ने की वजह से एशिया-प्रशांत क्षेत्र में तकरीबन 620 अरब डॉलर के स्थायी नुकसान का अनुमान लगाया है। हालांकि एजेंसी ने हर देश में कितना नुकसान हुआ, इसकी कोई जानकारी नहीं दी है। एजेंसी ने एक बयान जारी करके कहा है कि उसने एशिया-प्रशांत क्षेत्र में रियल जीडीपी (सकल घरेलू उत्पाद), महंगाई और नीतिगत ब्याज को लेकर अनुमानों में भी संशोधन किया है। 

भारत के लिए एसएंडपी ने 2020-21 के लिए जीडपी का अनुमान घटाकर 5.2 फीसदी कर दिया है, जो पहले 6.5 फीसदी था। एजेंसी ने 2021-22 में देश की वृद्घि दर 7 फीसदी रहने का अंदाजा भी घटाकर 6.9 फीसदी कर दिया है। चालू वित्त वर्ष लिए रेटिंग एजेंसी ने जीडीपी वृद्घि दर का अनुमान 5 फीसदी और साल 2022-23 एवं 2023-24 में 7 फीसदी विकास दर का अनुमान लगाया है। 

खेल 

टोक्यो ओलंपिक खेल 2021 तक स्थगित 

अंतरराष्ट्रीय ओलंपिक समिति (आईओसी) ने मंगलवार को घोषणा की कि विश्वभर में फैली महामारी के कारण टोक्यो ओलंपिक खेल 2020 को अगले साल गर्मियों तक के लिये स्थगित कर दिया गया है. 

पूर्व कार्यक्रम के अनुसार इन खेलों का आयोजन 24 जुलाई से नौ अगस्त के बीच होना था लेकिन आईओसी अध्यक्ष थामस बाक और जापान के प्रधानमंत्री शिंजो आबे के बीच टेलीफोन पर बातचीत के बाद ओलंपिक को पहली बार शांतिकाल में भी स्थगित करने का ऐतिहासिक फैसला किया गया. 

आबे ने इससे पहले कहा था कि जापान ने आईओसी से खेलों को एक साल के लिये स्थगित करने के लिये कहा जिस पर अन्‍य देशों ने शत प्रतिशत सहमति जतायी. 

एक संयुक्त बयान में इन दोनों ने कहा कि विश्व स्वास्थ्य संगठन (डब्ल्यूएचओ) के नवीनतम जानकारी के आधार पर टोक्यो खेलों का कार्यक्रम 2020 से आगे की तारीख में तय करना होगा लेकिन यह 2021 की गर्मियों से आगे नहीं होगा. 

रैंकिंग 

• हेरिटेज फाउंडेशन इंडेक्स द्वारा प्रकाशित आर्थिक स्वतंत्रता के 2020 सूचकांक में भारत को 120वां स्थान दिया गया है। इंडेक्स में सिंगापुर सबसे ऊपर रहा है। 

• रैंकिंग में दूसरे स्थान पर हांगकांग है और उसके बाद तीसरे पर न्यूजीलैंड है। 180 वें स्थान पर उत्तर कोरिया अंतिम स्थान पर है। हालांकि 6 देश ऐसे हैं जिन्हें रैंक नहीं दी गई है। 

• सूचकांक पहली बार 1995 में प्रकाशित किया गया था और हांगकांग ने तब से चार्ट में सबसे ऊपर है

विश्व तपेदिक दिवस: 

विश्व स्वास्थ्य संगठन ने मंगलवार, 24 मार्च, को 'विश्व तपेदिक दिवस' पर नए दिशानिर्देश जारी किए हैं जिनका लक्ष्य टीबी संक्रमितों को बीमार होने से बचाने के लिए रोकथाम व इलाज जल्द से जल्द सुनिश्चित करना है. टीबी दुनिया की सबसे घातक संक्रामक बीमारी है और हर दिन इसके कारण चार हज़ार से ज़्यादा लोगों की मौत होती है.    

वर्ष 2020 में विश्व टीबी दिवस की थीम ‘It’s Time’ है जिसके ज़रिए ज़िंदगियां बचाने और पीड़ा का अंत करने के प्रयासों को तेज़ करने की पैरवी की जा रही है. 

सकल मानव अधिकारों का उल्लंघन और पीड़ितों की गरिमा के लिए अंतर्राष्ट्रीय दिवस 

• सत्य के अधिकार के लिए अंतर्राष्ट्रीय दिवस सकल मानव अधिकारों का उल्लंघन और पीड़ितों की गरिमा के लिए प्रति वर्ष 24 मार्च को प्रतिवर्ष मनाया जाता है। 

• यह दिन 24 मार्च 1980 को "मोनसिग्नोर ऑस्कर अर्नुल्फो रोमेरो" को श्रद्धांजलि देने के लिए मनाया गया था।

Shivraj Singh Chouhan appointed as Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh for 4th time 

• BJP politician Shivraj Singh Chouhan has been appointed as the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh on March 23, 2020. He has been appointed for the fourth time. 

• This comes after the Madhya Pradesh chief minister (ex) Kamal Nath resigned from his post on March 20, 2020, as his government fell short of the majority mark. 

• The trigger of the downfall of Congress in Madhya Pradesh was Jyotiraditya M. Scindia leaving the Congress on 11 March, taking with him 22 MLAs. 

India to be in lockdown for 21 days from 25 March 2020 

• Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has announced the complete lockdown of the entire nation, as part of government’s stringent efforts to tackle current situation. 

• The entire country will be under lockdown from 25 March 2020. This will be in place for 21 days. This is the second time in a week when he addressed the country on the fast-spreading disease with flu-like symptoms that has infected more than 3.5 lakh people and killed over 16,000. 

1st ‘Made in India’ Test Kit gets CDSCO approval 

• “Mylab PathoDetect Qualitative PCR kit” has become the first ‘Made in India’ Test Kit to get the CDSCO approval. 

• Central Drugs Standard Control Organisation (CDSCO) has given the commercial approval to the diagnostic test kit made by Mylab Discovery Solutions Pvt Ltd which is also known as the Reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) test. 

India’s first dedicated hospital comes up in Mumbai by Reliance 

• Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) has set up India’s first dedicated hospital in Mumbai.A dedicated 100 bedded centre has been established at Seven Hills Hospital, Mumbai for patients who test positive.

• Sir HN Reliance Foundation Hospital has done this in collaboration with the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC). 

• This first-of-its-kind-in-India centre is fully funded by Reliance Foundation and includes a negative pressure room that helps in preventing cross-contamination and helps control infection. 

IOC becomes 1st company to begin supply of BS-VI fuel across India 

• India’s biggest oil firm, Indian Oil Corporation Limited has started supplying BS-VI fuel across India. With this, Indian Oil Corporation Limited has become 1st company to begin supply of BS-VI fuel across its 28,000 petrol pumps. 

• The Government of India has set 01st April 2020 as the deadline to start the supply of BS-VI emission compliant fuels. Therefore, from 01st April 2020, India will become the part of select league of nations which are using cleanest petrol and diesel across the country to cut vehicular emissions. 

International 

India-Belgium extradition agreement 

• The Union Cabinet chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi has approved the signing of Extradition Treaty between India and Belgium. 

• The new treaty between India and Belgium will replace the pre-independence treaty signed between Britain and Belgium in the year 1901, which was also applicable to India before independence. 

• According to the treaty, each party consents to the extradition of a person from the other party who is accused of an extradition offence in the border area of his or her country. 

Banking and Economy 

RBI to purchase bonds in advance to boost economy 

• The Reserve Bank has decided to buy bonds worth more than thirty thousand crores amid the crisis. 

• The Reserve Bank said that 15-15 thousand crore rupees will be imposed in two instalments on 24 March and 30 March. 

• The Reserve Bank of India will increase the cash flow to maintain financial stability because of infection. Due to the current situation, the economy worldwide is going through a phase of lethargy. 

UBS predicts India’s FY21 real GDP growth rate at 4% 

• UBS Securities has cut India’s growth forecast for FY21 to 4% from the previous 5.1%. The decrease is due to the current situation. 

• UBS predicts India to grow at 4.8% in FY20. 

S&P predicts Indias GDP growth forecast for FY21 at 5.2%; FY22- 6.9%; FY23 and FY24 at 7% 

• S&P Global Ratings has revised its GDP Growth rate projection for India for FY21 from 6.5% earlier to 5.2%. This is due to the current situation. 

• The GDP projection for the following financial years as per S&P is as follows: 

• 2021-22 (FY22)- 6.9% 

• 2022-23 (FY23)- 7% 

• 2023-24 (FY24)- 7%. 

Sports 

Tokyo Olympics 2020 postponed until 2021 

• As per the information shared by an International Olympic Committee (IOC) member Dick Pound, the Tokyo Olympics 2020 might be postponed until 2021. 

• The Tokyo Olympics was scheduled to take placed in the mid of 2020. However, due to the current situation, the games are likely to be rescheduled. 

Ranking 

India ranked 120 in the 2020 Index of Economic Freedom 

• India has been ranked at 120 position in the 2020 Index of Economic Freedom published by Heritage Foundation Index. The index has been topped by Singapore. 

• Hong Kong is on second in the ranking followed by New Zealand on the third. North Korea is at the last position at 180th place. Though there are 6 countries that are not ranked. 

• The Index was first published in 1995 and Hong Kong has topped the charts ever since. This is the first time that Hong Kong has been replaced from the 1st position.

• World Tuberculosis (TB) Day is observed globally on 24th March every year. This day is to raise public awareness about the devastating health, social and economic consequences of TB, and to step up efforts to end the global TB.

International Day for the Right to the Truth Concerning Gross Human Rights Violations and for the Dignity of Victims 

• International Day for the Right to the Truth Concerning Gross Human Rights Violations and for the Dignity of Victims is observed annually on 24th March every year. 

• This day is observed on 24th March every year to pay tribute to “Monsignor Óscar Arnulfo Romero” as he was murdered on 24 March 1980. He was actively engaged in criticizing violations of the human rights of the most vulnerable individuals in El Salvador.
