महामारी में पीएम मोदी ने योग का महत्व समझाया

• पीएम मोदी ने छठे अंतर्राष्ट्रीय योग दिवस पर अपने संदेश में कहा कि योग एकता के बल के रूप में उभरा है और यह मानवता के बंधन को भी गहरा करता है। यह भेदभाव नहीं करता है और रंग, नस्ल, विश्वास, लिंग और राष्ट्रों से परे है।
• यह पहली बार था कि योग दिवस समारोह वस्तुतः आयोजित किया गया था, जब से इसे 2015 में स्थापित किया गया था। यह दिन हर साल 21 जून को मनाया जाता है। 21 जून की तारीख को प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने सुझाया था।
• पीएम मोदी ने इस तिथि को चुना, क्योंकि यह उत्तरी गोलार्ध में वर्ष का सबसे लंबा दिन है। यह दिन दुनिया के कई हिस्सों में एक विशेष महत्व रखता है। 

केंद्रीय मंत्री ने R&D पोर्टल "SATYABHAMA" लॉन्च किया

केंद्रीय कोयला, खान और संसदीय मामलों के मंत्री, प्रहलाद जोशी ने R & D पोर्टल "Science and Technology Yojana for Aatmanirbhar Bharat in Mining Advancement (SATYABHAMA)" शुरू किया है। पोर्टल को खान मंत्रालय के विज्ञान और प्रौद्योगिकी कार्यक्रम योजना के लिए लॉन्च किया गया है। नए लॉन्च किए गए पोर्टल से योजना के क्रियान्वयन में दक्षता बढ़ेगी और साथ ही यह परियोजनाओं की ऑनलाइन निगरानी और धन / अनुदान के उपयोग के साथ परियोजना प्रस्तावों को ऑनलाइन जमा करने की अनुमति देगा।

R & D पोर्टल SATYABHAMA को राष्ट्रीय सूचना विज्ञान केंद्र (NIC), माइन्स इंफोर्मेशन डिवीजन द्वारा डिजाइन, विकसित और कार्यान्वित किया गया है। इसे NITI Aayog के NGO Darpan पोर्टल के साथ एकीकृत किया गया है। यह इलेक्ट्रॉनिक प्रारूप में शोधकर्ताओं की प्रगति रिपोर्ट और परियोजनाओं की अंतिम तकनीकी रिपोर्ट को भी स्वीकार करता है।

$ 150 बिलियन मार्केट वैल्यूएशन मार्क तक पहुंचा आरआईएल (RIL)

रिलायंस इंडस्ट्रीज लिमिटेड (आरआईएल) मार्केट कैपिटलाइजेशन की अवधि में $ 150 बिलियन डॉलर तक पहुंच गया है। मुकेश अंबानी ने आरआईएल को बाजार पूंजीकरण के मामले में भारत की पहली $ 150 बिलियन की कंपनी बना दिया है।आरआईएल ने इस उपलब्धि को हासिल किया जब इसकी शेयर की कीमत 6.23% बढ़कर 1,759 रुपये पर बंद हुई, जिससे इसका बाजार पूंजीकरण(market capitalisation) 11.15 लाख करोड़ रुपये यानि लगभग 150 बिलियन डॉलर हो गया।

इस उपलब्धि के साथ, रिलायंस इंडस्ट्रीज लिमिटेड का मार्केट कैपिटलाइजेशन शीर्ष global energy players में कुल SA, रॉयल डच शेल और BP से अधिक है। 

नियुक्ति और इस्तीफे

उर्जित पटेल को Economic Think Tank NIPFP के अध्यक्ष के रूप में नियुक्त किया गया

उर्जित पटेल को नेशनल इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ पब्लिक फाइनेंस एंड पॉलिसी (NIPFP) के अध्यक्ष के रूप में नियुक्त किया गया है। यह एक economic think tank है जो नई दिल्ली, भारत में स्थित है। उर्जित पटेल की नियुक्ति चार साल की अवधि के लिए की गई है। वह वर्तमान अध्यक्ष विजय केलकर की जगह लेंगे।

उर्जित पटेल इससे पहले गवर्नर के साथ-साथ भारतीय रिज़र्व बैंक (RBI) के डिप्टी गवर्नर भी रह चुके हैं। उन्होंने दिसंबर 2018 में RBI के गवर्नर के पद से इस्तीफा दे दिया।

अंतरराष्ट्रीय योग दिवस

संयुक्त राष्ट्र योग के अभ्यास के कई लाभों के बारे में दुनिया भर में जागरूकता बढ़ाने के लिए हर साल 21 जून को विश्व स्तर पर योग का अंतर्राष्ट्रीय दिवस मनाता है। योग एक प्राचीन शारीरिक, मानसिक और आध्यात्मिक अभ्यास है जिसकी उत्पत्ति भारत में हुई थी। शब्द 'योग' संस्कृत से लिया गया है और इसका मतलब शरीर और चेतना के मिलन का प्रतीक है या एकजुट होना।

• योग के 2020 के अंतर्राष्ट्रीय दिवस का विषय है ‘Yoga for Health – Yoga at Homeand Yoga with Family' है। 

फादर्स डे 2020

• फादर्स डे, पितृत्व और पितृ बंधुओं के सम्मान का दिन है, साथ ही साथ समाज में पिता के प्रभाव का भी। यूरोप के कैथोलिक देशों में, मध्य युग के बाद से 19 मार्च को संत जोसेफ दिवस के रूप में मनाया जाता है।
• वर्ष के अलग-अलग समय में दुनिया के कई हिस्सों में फादर्स डे मनाया जाता है, ज्यादातर मार्च, मई और जून में। हालाँकि, आमतौर पर भारत में जून के तीसरे रविवार को फादर्स डे मनाया जाता है।

PM Narendra Modi addresses the nation, promotes yoga to fight

• PM Modi in his message on sixth International Yoga Day stated that Yoga has emerged as a force of unity and it also deepens the bonds of humanity. It doesn't discriminate and goes beyond color, race, faith, gender, and nations.
• It was the first time that Yoga day celebration was held virtually, ever since it was instituted in 2015.This day is celebrated every year on June 21.The date June 21 was suggested by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi in his UN address.
• PM Modi picked this date, as it is the longest day of the year in the Northern hemisphere. This day also shares a special significance in many parts of the world. 

Union Minister launches R&D Portal “SATYABHAMA”

• Union Minister for Coal, Mines and Parliamentary Affairs, Pralhad Joshi has launched R&D Portal “Science and Technology Yojana for Aatmanirbhar Bharat in Mining Advancement (SATYABHAMA)”.
• The R&D Portal SATYABHAMA has been designed, developed and implemented by National Informatics Centre (NIC), Mines Informatics Division.It has been integrated with NGO Darpan Portal of NITI Aayog.
• The newly launched portal will increase efficiency as well as effectiveness in the implementation of the Scheme as it allows online submission of project proposals along with monitoring of the projects and utilization of funds/grants.

RIL reaches $150-billion market valuation mark

• The Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) has reached $150-billion mark in term of market capitalisation. Hence, the Mukesh Ambani-helmed RIL has become India’s first $150-billion company in terms of market capitalisation.
• RIL achieved this milestone when its share price had gained 6.23% to close at Rs 1,759, taking its market capitalisation to Rs 11.15 lakh crore i.e. around $150 billion.
• With this achievement, the market capitalisation of Reliance Industries Limited is more than that of Total SA, Royal Dutch Shell and BP among the top global energy players.

Former RBI Governor Urjit Patel appointed as Chairman of NIPFP

• Former Reserve Bank of India Governor Urjit Patel has been appointed as the Chairman of the National Institute of Public Finance and Policy (NIPFP).His four-year term will begin from June 22, 2020.
• The National Institute of Public Finance and Policy is an autonomous research institute under the Ministry of Finance, based in New Delhi. It conducts research on public finance and contributes to the process of policy-making relating to public finance.

World International Day of Yoga

• United Nations celebrates International Day of Yoga globally on 21 June every year to raise awareness worldwide of the many benefits of practicing yoga. Yoga is an ancient physical, mental and spiritual practice that originated in India. The word ‘yoga’ derives from Sanskrit and means to join or to unite, symbolizing the union of body and consciousness.
• The theme of International Day of Yoga 2020 is ‘Yoga for Health – Yoga at Homeand Yoga with Family'.

• Father's Day is a day of honoring fatherhood and paternal bonds, as well as the influence of fathers in society. In Catholic countries of Europe, it has been celebrated on March 19 as Saint Joseph's Day since the Middle Ages.
• Father's day is celebrated in many parts of the world at different times of the year, mostly in March, May, and June. However, Father's Day is usually celebrated in India on the third Sunday in June, meaning that Father's Day 2020 will be celebrated on June 21.
