सीएम अरविंद केजरीवाल ने शुरू किया 'जहां वोट, वहा टीकाकरण' अभियान

• दिल्ली के मुख्यमंत्री अरविंद केजरीवाल ने अगले चार हफ्तों के भीतर दिल्ली में C-19 के खिलाफ 45 वर्ष से ऊपर के सभी लोगों का टीकाकरण करने के उद्देश्य से 'जहाँ वोट, वहाँ टीकाकरण' अभियान शुरू किया। दिल्ली में 45 वर्ष से ऊपर के करीब 57 लाख लोग हैं। इनमें से 27 लाख को पहली खुराक दी जा चुकी है। बाकी 30 लाख लोगों को अभी भी पहली खुराक से टीका लगाया जाना बाकी है।
• इसके लिए बूथ स्तर के अधिकारियों (BLO) को प्रशिक्षित किया जा रहा है। BLO हर घर पहुंचेंगे और 45 वर्ष से ऊपर के लोगों से पूछताछ करेंगे। ये अधिकारी निकटतम बूथ पर टीकाकरण के लिए स्लॉट की जानकारी देंगे। यदि कोई व्यक्ति टीकाकरण केंद्रों में जाने से इंकार करता है, तो BLO उससे अनुरोध करेंगे और इस संबंध में उसे समझाने का प्रयास करेंगे।

एक लाख 'C-19 योद्धाओं' को प्रशिक्षित करने के लिए पीएम नरेंद्र मोदी ने शुरू किया क्रैश कोर्स

• प्रधान मंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने एक लाख से अधिक "कोविड योद्धाओं" को प्रशिक्षित करने के लिए एक क्रैश कोर्स शुरू किया है, क्योंकि उन्होंने देश को भविष्य में C-19 महामारी की चुनौतियों के लिए तैयार रहने का आह्वान किया है। यह कार्यक्रम 26 राज्यों में फैले 111 प्रशिक्षण केंद्रों से चलाया जाएगा। इन सभी प्रयासों के बीच कुशल जनशक्ति महत्वपूर्ण है। इसके लिए और कोरोनावायरस योद्धाओं की वर्तमान सेना का समर्थन करने के लिए एक लाख युवाओं को प्रशिक्षित किया जा रहा है। यह प्रशिक्षण 2-3 महीने में समाप्त हो जाना चाहिए।
• छह अनुकूलित नौकरी भूमिकाओं – होम केयर सपोर्ट, बेसिक केयर सपोर्ट, एडवांस केयर सपोर्ट, इमरजेंसी केयर सपोर्ट, सैंपल कलेक्शन सपोर्ट और मेडिकल इक्विपमेंट सपोर्ट में कोविड योद्धाओं को प्रशिक्षण दिया जाएगा। इसमें फ्रेश स्किलिंग के साथ-साथ उन लोगों का अपस्किलिंग भी शामिल होगा, जिनके पास इस प्रकार के काम में कुछ प्रशिक्षण है।

• आयरलैंड के हरफनमौला खिलाड़ी केविन ओ'ब्रायन ने एक दिवसीय अंतरराष्ट्रीय मैचों से संन्यास की घोषणा की है। 37 वर्षीय डबलिनर, जो टेस्ट और T20 क्रिकेट के लिए उपलब्ध है, ने 50 ओवर के प्रारूप में 153 कैप जीते, 3,000 से अधिक रन बनाए और अपनी जीवंत मध्यम गति के साथ प्रारूप में 114 विकेट लिए।

मुफ्ती फैज-उल-वाहीद का निधन हो गया

• जम्मू के प्रसिद्ध इस्लामिक विद्वान मुफ्ती फैज-उल-वहीद, जिन्होंने पहली बार कुरान का गोजरी भाषा में अनुवाद किया, का जम्मू में निधन हो गया। उन्होंने ने 'सिराज-उम-मुनीरा', 'अहकाम-ए-मय्यत' और 'नमाज का मसाइल कुरान-ओ-हदीस की रोशनी में' सहित कई पुस्तिकाएं भी लिखी थीं।
• गुर्जरी - जिसे गुजारीं, गुजरी, गोजारी या गोजरी के नाम से भी जाना जाता है - गुर्जरों और भारत, पाकिस्तान और अफगानिस्तान की अन्य जनजातियों द्वारा बोली जाने वाली इंडो-आर्यन की एक किस्म है। भाषा मुख्य रूप से जम्मू और कश्मीर, हिमाचल प्रदेश, हरियाणा, उत्तराखंड, राजस्थान, गुजरात, पंजाब, दिल्ली और भारत के अन्य हिस्सों में बोली जाती है।

जाम्बिया के पहले राष्ट्रपति केनेथ कौंडा का निधन

• जाम्बिया के पहले राष्ट्रपति के रूप में सेवा करने वाले जाम्बिया के राजनेता केनेथ कौंडा का निधन हो गया है।
• श्री कौंडा ने 1964 से 1991 तक 27 वर्षों तक स्वतंत्र ज़ाम्बिया के पहले राष्ट्रपति के रूप में कार्य किया। जाम्बिया ने अक्टूबर 1964 में ब्रिटेन से स्वतंत्रता प्राप्त की।

• संयुक्त राष्ट्र ग्लोबल कॉम्पैक्ट ने रीन्यू पावर के अध्यक्ष और एमडी सुमंत सिन्हा को स्वच्छ और सस्ती ऊर्जा तक पहुंच को आगे बढ़ाने के उनके काम के लिए दस SDG पायनियर्स 2021 में से एक के रूप में मान्यता दी है। SDG पायनियर्स संयुक्त राष्ट्र ग्लोबल कॉम्पैक्ट द्वारा सतत विकास लक्ष्यों (SDG) को आगे बढ़ाने के लिए एक असाधारण काम करने के लिए चुने गए व्यापारिक नेता हैं।

इंडसइंड बैंक ने डिजिटल लेंडिंग प्लेटफॉर्म "इंडसईज़ी क्रेडिट" लॉन्च किया

• इंडसइंड बैंक ने 'IndusEasy Credit' लॉन्च करने की घोषणा की, जो एक व्यापक डिजिटल लेंडिंग प्लेटफॉर्म है, जो ग्राहकों को उनके घर के आराम से उनकी वित्तीय आवश्यकताओं को पूरा करने में सक्षम बनाता है। इसके साथ, मौजूदा, और साथ ही गैर-इंडसइंड बैंक ग्राहक दोनों, पूरी तरह से पेपरलेस और डिजिटल तरीके से एक ही मंच पर व्यक्तिगत ऋण या क्रेडिट कार्ड का तुरंत लाभ उठा सकते हैं।

CM Arvind Kejriwal launched ‘Jahan Vote, Wahan Vaccination’ Campaign

• Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal launched the ‘Jahan Vote, Wahan Vaccination’ campaign, with the aim to vaccinate all people above 45 years against C-19 in Delhi within the next four weeks. There are around 57 lakhs people above 45 years in Delhi. Among them, 27 lakhs have been administered the first dose. The rest 30 lakh people still remain to be vaccinated with the first dose.
• The booth level officers (BLO) are being trained for this purpose. The BLOs will reach every home and enquire about people above 45 years. These officials will inform about the slots for vaccination at the nearest booth. If a person refuses to go to the vaccination centres, the BLOs will request him and try to convince him in this regard.

PM Narendra Modi launched crash course to train one lakh ‘C-19 warriors’

• Prime Minister Narendra Modi has launched a crash course to train more than one lakh “C-19 warriors” as he called on the country to be prepared for challenges the coronavirus pandemic may pose in the future. The programme will be to be carried out from 111 training centres spread across 26 states. Amid all these efforts, skilled manpower is critical. For this and to support the current force of coronavirus warriors, one lakh youths are being trained. This training should be over in 2-3 months.
• The training will be imparted to C-19 warriors in six customised job roles — Home Care Support, Basic Care Support, Advanced Care Support, Emergency Care Support, Sample Collection Support, and Medical Equipment Support. This will include fresh skilling as well as upskilling of those who have some training in this type of work.

Ireland’s all-rounder cricketer Kevin O’Brien Announces Retirement

• Ireland all-rounder Kevin O’Brien has announced his retirement from one-day internationals. The 37-year-old Dubliner, who remains available for Test and T20 cricket, won 153 caps in the 50-over format, scoring over 3,000 runs and taking a national record 114 wickets in the format with his lively medium pace.
• But he is best known for a blistering World Cup hundred that saw Ireland beat England by three wickets in Bangalore during the 2011 edition. His 50-ball hundred remains the quickest in World Cup history, with O’Brien hammering an England attack that featured James Anderson, Stuart Broad, and off-spinner Graeme Swann.

Mufti Faiz-ul-Waheed, passed away

• Renowned Jammu-based Islamic scholar Mufti Faiz-ul-Waheed, who first translated Quran into Gojri language, has passed away in a Jammu. The scholar had also authored several booklets including ‘Siraj-um-Muneera’, ‘Ahkam-e-Mayyat’ and ‘Namaz Kae Masayil Quran-o-Hadees Ki Roshni Mei’.
• Gurjari – also known as Gujari, Gujri, Gojari, or Gojri – is a variety of Indo-Aryan spoken by the Gurjars and other tribes of India, Pakistan, and Afghanistan. The language is mainly spoken in Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, Uttarakhand, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Punjab, Delhi and other parts of India.

First President of Zambia Kenneth Kaunda passed away

• Zambian politician Kenneth Kaunda, who served as the first President of Zambia, has passed away.
• Mr Kaunda served as the first President of independent Zambia for 27 years from 1964 to 1991. Zambia gained independence from Britain in October 1964.

World Competitiveness Index 2021: India maintains 43rd rank

• India maintained 43rd rank on an annual World Competitiveness Index compiled by the Institute for Management Development (IMD) that examined the impact of C-19 on economies around the world this year.
• The IMD World Competitiveness Ranking ranks 64 economies and assesses the extent to which a country promotes the prosperity of its people by measuring economic well-being through hard data and survey responses from executives.

• IndusInd Bank announced the launch of ‘IndusEasy Credit’, a comprehensive digital lending platform that enables customers to meet their financial requirements from the comfort of their homes. With this, both existing, as well as non-IndusInd Bank customer, can instantly avail of personal loans or credit cards on a single platform in a completely paperless and digital manner.
