हरियाणा में सांस्कृतिक केंद्र स्थापित करेगा केंद्र

• मुख्यमंत्री मनोहर लाल खट्टर ने शनिवार को कहा कि हरियाणा सरकार को केंद्र सरकार से कुरुक्षेत्र में सांस्कृतिक केंद्र स्थापित करने की सैद्धांतिक मंजूरी मिल गई है। इसके अलावा, केंद्र और हरियाणा सरकार 'अंतर्राष्ट्रीय सूरजकुंड शिल्प मेला' को एक भव्य आयोजन के रूप में विस्तारित और विकसित करने के लिए मिलकर काम करेंगे।
• मुख्यमंत्री ने दिन के दौरान नई दिल्ली में केंद्रीय पर्यटन मंत्री जी किशन रेड्डी के साथ बातचीत की। मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि केंद्र सरकार ने कुरुक्षेत्र में 'उत्तर क्षेत्र सांस्कृतिक केंद्र' स्थापित करने की सैद्धांतिक मंजूरी दे दी है। वर्तमान में, पटियाला में एक 'उत्तर क्षेत्र सांस्कृतिक केंद्र' है।
• कुरुक्षेत्र के ज्योतिसर में स्थापित होने वाले संग्रहालय का विस्तृत परियोजना विवरण हरियाणा सरकार द्वारा प्रस्तुत किया गया है।

निष्पादन में कोई प्रगति नहीं होने का हवाला देते हुए छत्तीसगढ़ ने 158 समझौता ज्ञापनों को समाप्त किया

• छत्तीसगढ़ सरकार ने 2001 और 2018 के बीच विभिन्न विभागों और कंपनियों के बीच हस्ताक्षरित 158 समझौता ज्ञापनों (एमओयू) को रद्द कर दिया है, उनके निष्पादन में कोई प्रगति नहीं होने के बाद।
• राज्य में रमन सिंह के नेतृत्व वाली भाजपा सरकार के कार्यकाल के दौरान 2012 में ग्लोबल इन्वेस्टर्स मीट के दौरान 158 समझौता ज्ञापनों में से 103 पर हस्ताक्षर किए गए थे।
• मुख्यमंत्री भूपेश बघेल की अध्यक्षता में गुरुवार को राज्य निवेश संवर्धन बोर्ड की 15वीं बैठक में इस संबंध में निर्णय लिया गया।

 भारत, श्रीलंका और मालदीव ने वर्चुअल त्रिपक्षीय अभ्यास TTX-2021 आयोजित किया

• भारत, श्रीलंका और मालदीव के शीर्ष रक्षा अधिकारियों ने एक वर्चुअल त्रिपक्षीय टेबलटॉप अभ्यास "TTX-2021" में भाग लिया। यह अभ्यास समुद्री अपराधों जैसे कि नशीले पदार्थों पर अंकुश लगाने और क्षेत्र में समुद्री खोज और बचाव में सहायता पर केंद्रित था। दो दिवसीय अभ्यास, TTX-2021 का उद्देश्य आपसी समझ को बढ़ाना और आम अंतरराष्ट्रीय अपराध का मुकाबला करने के लिए सर्वोत्तम प्रथाओं की प्रक्रियाओं का आदान-प्रदान करना था, जिसे मैरीटाइम वारफेयर सेंटर, मुंबई द्वारा समन्वित किया गया था।
• TTX-2021 भारत-मालदीव-श्रीलंका के बीच गहरे त्रिपक्षीय जुड़ाव का उदाहरण है, जो पिछले कुछ वर्षों में समुद्री क्षेत्र में काफी मजबूत हुआ है।
• हिंद महासागर क्षेत्र (IOR) में तीन पड़ोसी देशों के बीच बातचीत भी हाल के वर्षों में भारत की 'पड़ोसी पहले (Neighbourhood First)' की नीति और 'क्षेत्र में सभी के लिए सुरक्षा और विकास (Security and Growth for all in the Region - SAGAR)' के दृष्टिकोण के अनुरूप काफी बढ़ी है।

आंध्र प्रदेश सरकार ने आर्थिक रूप से कमजोर वर्गों के लिए 10% आरक्षण की घोषणा की

• आंध्र प्रदेश सरकार ने संविधान (103वां संशोधन) अधिनियम, 2019 के अनुसार राज्य सरकार में प्रारंभिक पदों और सेवाओं में नियुक्तियों के लिए कापू समुदाय और अन्य आर्थिक रूप से कमजोर वर्गों (EWS) के लिए 10% आरक्षण की घोषणा की। रोजगार में 10% आरक्षण से कापू को लाभ होगा जो न तो बीसी कोटे के तहत लाभान्वित हैं और न ही EWS कोटा और अन्य खुली प्रतिस्पर्धा (OC) वर्गों के तहत जो EWS कोटा लागू नहीं होने के कारण आरक्षण के लाभों से वंचित हैं।
• ऐसे व्यक्ति जो एससी, एसटी और सामाजिक और शैक्षिक रूप से पिछड़े वर्गों के लिए आरक्षण की मौजूदा योजना के तहत कवर नहीं हैं और जिनकी सकल वार्षिक पारिवारिक आय 8 लाख रुपये से कम है, उन्हें आरक्षण के लाभ के लिए EWS के रूप में पहचाना जाना है।
• आय में आवेदन के वर्ष से पहले के वित्तीय वर्ष के लिए सभी स्रोतों यानी वेतन, कृषि, व्यवसाय, पेशे आदि से आय शामिल है।

नरेंद्र सिंह तोमर द्वारा लॉन्च किया गया डिजिटल प्लेटफॉर्म "किसान सारथी",

• किसानों को उनकी वांछित भाषा में 'सही समय पर सही जानकारी' प्राप्त करने की सुविधा के लिए, कृषि और किसान कल्याण मंत्री नरेंद्र सिंह तोमर द्वारा संयुक्त रूप से 'किसान सारथी' नामक एक डिजिटल प्लेटफॉर्म लॉन्च किया गया। किसान सारथी की यह पहल दूर-दराज के क्षेत्रों में किसानों तक पहुंचने के लिए तकनीकी हस्तक्षेप से किसानों को सशक्त बनाती है।
• ICAR के वैज्ञानिक किसानों की फसल को उनके खेत के गेट से गोदामों, बाजारों और उन स्थानों पर जहां वे न्यूनतम नुकसान के साथ बेचना चाहते हैं, परिवहन के क्षेत्र में नए तकनीकी हस्तक्षेपों पर शोध करेंगे। केंद्रीय आईटी मंत्री ने आश्वासन दिया कि इलेक्ट्रॉनिक्स और आईटी मंत्रालय और संचार मंत्रालय किसानों के सशक्तिकरण के लिए कृषि और किसान कल्याण मंत्रालय और मत्स्य पालन, पशुपालन और डेयरी मंत्रालय को सभी आवश्यक सहायता प्रदान करने के लिए हमेशा तैयार रहेंगे। उन्होंने यह भी कहा कि रेल मंत्रालय फसलों के परिवहन में लगने वाले समय को कम करने की योजना बना रहा है।

गर्भवती महिलाओं के लिए केरल सरकार का अभियान ‘Mathrukavacham’

• C-19 संक्रमण के खिलाफ राज्य की सभी गर्भवती महिलाओं का टीकाकरण करने हेतु केरल सरकार के अभियान 'मातृकवचम' ('Mathrukavacham) का हाल ही में जिला स्तर पर उद्घाटन किया गया। गर्भवती महिलाओं के टीकाकरण हेतु विभिन्न सरकारी अस्पतालों में स्पॉट पंजीकरण किया जाएगा। गर्भवती महिलाएं गर्भावस्था के दौरान किसी भी समय C-19 वैक्सीन प्राप्त कर सकती हैं। विशेष टीकाकरण अभियान गर्भवती महिलाओं की सुरक्षा के लिए एक मजबूत बचाव के रूप में आता है।
• मॉडल कार्यक्रम के तहत सभी जिला अस्पतालों में टीकाकरण की सुविधा उपलब्ध कराई जाएगी। शुरुआत में स्पॉट पंजीकरण के जरिए 100 गर्भवती महिलाओं को कोविड का टीका दिया जाएगा।
• राज्य के स्वास्थ्य मंत्रालय ने आश्वासन दिया कि आने वाले दिनों में वैक्सीन की उपलब्धता के आधार पर सभी अस्पतालों में और अधिक गर्भवती महिलाओं के लिए C-19 टीकाकरण उपलब्ध कराया जाएगा।

महाराष्ट्र सरकार ने नई इलेक्ट्रिक वाहन नीति 2021 लॉन्च की

• महाराष्ट्र राज्य सरकार ने नई इलेक्ट्रिक वाहन नीति -2021 लॉन्च की है। राज्य के पर्यावरण मंत्री, आदित्य ठाकरे द्वारा घोषित नीति का उद्देश्य देश में बैटरी इलेक्ट्रिक वाहनों को अपनाने में तेजी लाना है। महाराष्ट्र में पेश की गई नई ईवी नीति 2018 की नीति का संशोधन है। इसे महाराष्ट्र को "भारत में बैटरी से चलने वाले इलेक्ट्रिक वाहनों का सबसे बड़ा उत्पादक" बनाने के उद्देश्य से पेश किया गया है।
• इस नीति का लक्ष्य 2025 तक सभी नए वाहनों के पंजीकरण में इलेक्ट्रिक वाहनों (EV) का 10 प्रतिशत हिस्सा बनाना है। इस महत्वाकांक्षी मिशन के लिए राज्य सरकार ने रु. 930 करोड़ की पॉलिसी, 31 मार्च 2025 तक वैध। इसे सफल बनाने के लिए इलेक्ट्रिक वाहनों को रोड टैक्स और रजिस्ट्रेशन चार्ज से छूट दी जाएगी।

Centre to set up cultural centre in Haryana

• The Haryana government has got in-principle approval to set up a cultural centre in Kurukshetra from the central government, Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar said on Saturday. Further, the Centre and the Haryana government will work together to expand and develop ‘International Surajkund Craft Mela’ into a grand affair.
• Khattar held talks with Union Tourism Minister G Kishan Reddy in New Delhi during the day. In-principle approval to set up a ‘North Zone Cultural Centre’ in Kurukshetra has been given by the central government, the chief minister said. Currently, there is a ‘North Zone Cultural Centre’ in Patiala.
• A detailed project description of a museum to be established at Jyotisar in Kurukshetra has been submitted by the Haryana government.

Chhattisgarh Terminates 158 MoUs, Citing No Progress In Execution

• The Chhattisgarh government has cancelled 158 memoranda of understanding (MoUs), signed between different departments and companies between 2001 and 2018, after no progress was made in their execution.
• The 158 MoUs, 103 were signed during the Global Investors' Meet in 2012 during the tenure of the Raman Singh-led BJP government in the state.
• The decision in this regard was taken during the 15th meeting of the State Investment Promotion Board chaired by Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel.

India, Sri Lanka and Maldives hold virtual trilateral exercise TTX-2021

• Top defence officials from India, Sri Lanka and the Maldives participated in a virtual trilateral tabletop exercise “TTX-2021”. The exercise focused on maritime crimes like curbing narcotics and assistance in maritime search and rescue in the region. The two-day exercise, TTX-2021 aimed at enhancing mutual understanding and exchange of best practices procedures for countering common transnational crime was coordinated by the Maritime Warfare Centre, Mumbai.
• TTX-2021 exemplifies the deep trilateral engagement between India-Maldives-Sri Lanka which has strengthened immensely in the maritime domain over the past years.
• Interaction between the three neighbouring countries in the Indian Ocean Region (IOR) has also grown significantly in recent years, in consonance with India”s policy of ‘Neighbourhood First” and vision of ‘Security and Growth for all in the Region (SAGAR).

Andhra Pradesh government announced 10% reservation for Economically Weaker Sections

• The Andhra Pradesh government announced a 10% reservation for the Kapu community and other Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) for appointments in the initial posts and services in State government in accordance with the Constitution (103rd Amendment) Act, 2019. The 10% reservation in employment will benefit Kapus who are neither benefited under BC quota nor under EWS quota and other Open Competition (OC) sections who are deprived of the benefits of reservation thus far due to non-implementation of the EWS quota.
• Persons who are not covered under the existing scheme of reservations for SCs, STs and Socially and Educationally Backward Classes and whose gross annual family income is below Rs 8 lakh are to be identified as EWS for the benefit of reservation.
• The income includes income from all sources i.e. salary, agriculture, business, profession etc. for the financial year prior to the year of application.

Digital Platform “Kisan Sarathi” launched by Narendra Singh Tomar,

• In order to facilitate farmers to get ‘right information at right time’ in their desired language, a digital platform namely ‘KisanSarathi’ was launched jointly by Narendra Singh Tomar, Minister for Agriculture and Farmers Welfare. This initiative of KisanSarathi empowers farmers with technological interventions to reach farmers in remote areas.
• The ICAR Scientists to take-up research on new technological interventions in the area of transportation of farmer’s crop from their farm gate to warehouses, markets and the places where they want to sell with minimum damage. Union IT Minister assured that Ministry of Electronics and IT and Ministry of Communications will always be ready to provide all necessary support to Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare and Ministry of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying for Empowerment of Farmers. He also mentioned that the Ministry of Railways is making a plan to minimise the time taken for the transportation of crops.

Kerala government’s campaign ‘Mathrukavacham’ for pregnant women 

• The Kerala government’s campaign ‘Mathrukavacham’ to vaccinate all the pregnant women in the state against C-19 infection was inaugurated at the district level recently. Spot registrations for vaccination of pregnant women would be carried out at various government hospitals. Pregnant women can receive the C-19 vaccine at any time during their pregnancy. The special vaccination drive comes as a strong defence to protect pregnant women.
• Vaccination will be made available in all district hospitals as part of the model program. In the beginning, the C-19 vaccine will be given to 100 pregnant women through spot registration.
• The State Health Ministry assured that in the coming days, C-19 vaccination for more pregnant women will be made accessible in all hospitals, depending on the availability of the vaccine.

Maharashtra government launched new Electric Vehicle Policy 2021

• The Maharashtra state government has launched the new Electric Vehicle Policy-2021. The policy announced by the State Environment Minister, Aaditya Thackeray aims to accelerate the adoption of Battery Electric Vehicles in the country. The new EV policy introduced in Maharashtra is a revision of the 2018 policy. It is introduced with an aim to make Maharashtra the “topmost producer of battery-powered electric vehicles in India.”
• The policy also aims for electric vehicles (EVs) to make up 10 per cent of all new vehicle registrations, by 2025. For this ambitious mission, the state government has rolled out an Rs. 930 crore policy, valid up to 31st March 2025. To make this successful, EVs will be exempted from road tax and registration charges.
