मध्यप्रदेश में 2022 तक नल जल कनेक्शन

• मध्यप्रदेश ने जल जीवन मिशन (JJM) के तहत अपनी वार्षिक कार्य योजना (AAP) आज 2021-22 के साथ-साथ संतृप्ति योजना में ग्रामीण घरों में नल के पानी के कनेक्शन प्रदान करने के लिए राज्य की कार्य योजना की स्थापना करते हुए वीडियो कॉन्फ्रेंसिंग के माध्यम से प्रस्तुत की, ताकि राज्य के ग्रामीण हर घर को समयबद्ध तरीके से नल का पानी दिया जा सके। मध्य प्रदेश को 2021-22 में लगभग 3,000 करोड़ रुपये का केंद्रीय कोष मिलने की संभावना है। पिछले वर्ष के लगभग 2.5 गुना आवंटन की इस मात्रा को देखते हुए, राज्य को राज्य के मिलान के लिए प्रावधान करना होगा और प्रभावी उपयोग निधि के लिए एक यथार्थवादी व्यय योजना तैयार करनी होगी।
• वर्तमान में एक महीने की योजना बनाने की कवायद चल रही है जिसमें दो राज्यों / केंद्रशासित प्रदेशों में उनकी AAP रोजाना एक समिति प्रस्तुत करती है, जिसकी अध्यक्षता पेयजल और स्वच्छता विभाग, जल मंत्रालय के विभिन्न केंद्रीय मंत्रालयों / विभागों और NITI Aayog के सदस्य करते हैं। समिति समान रूप से अंतिम रूप देने से पहले प्रस्तावित वार्षिक कार्य योजना (AAP) की संयुक्त रूप से समीक्षा करती है। तत्पश्चात, पूरे वर्ष के दौरान और नियमित रूप से फील्ड विज़िट के लिए फंड जारी किया जाता है, जल जीवन मिशन के लक्ष्य को प्राप्त करने के लिए AAP के कार्यान्वयन को सुनिश्चित करने के लिए समीक्षा बैठकें आयोजित की जाती हैं।
• मध्य प्रदेश में 1.23 करोड़ ग्रामीण परिवार हैं, जिनमें से 37.69 लाख (31%) के घरों में नल का जल आपूर्ति है। 2020-21 में, मध्य प्रदेश ने 19.89 लाख नल जल कनेक्शन प्रदान किए हैं और जल जनधन मिशन के तहत देश में शीर्ष प्रदर्शन करने वालों में से एक रहा है। 2021-22 में, राज्य ने 7 जिलों और 22 लाख नए नल जल कनेक्शनों की संतृप्ति के लिए योजना बनाई है।

 मणिपुर ने अपनी वार्षिक कार्य योजना प्रस्तुत की

• मणिपुर राज्य ने जल जीवन मिशन के तहत अपनी वार्षिक कार्य योजना को आज विभिन्न केंद्रीय मंत्रालयों / विभागों और एनआईटीएयोग के सदस्यों के साथ पेयजल और स्वच्छता विभाग, जल शक्ति विभाग की समिति के समक्ष वीडियो कॉन्फ्रेंसिंग के माध्यम से प्रस्तुत किया।
• मणिपुर में लगभग 4.51 लाख ग्रामीण परिवार हैं, जिनमें से 2.27 लाख घरों में 31 मार्च 2021 तक नल का पानी की आपूर्ति है। कोविद- 19 महामारी के बावजूद 2020-21 में 1.96 लाख नए नल जल कनेक्शन प्रदान किए गए थे। राज्य ने शेष 2.25 लाख घरों को नल का जल कनेक्शन प्रदान करके जल जीवन मिशन (JJM) के तहत 2021-22 तक 100% संतृप्ति के लिए योजना बनाई है।

 आठवां इंडो-किर्गिज स्पेशल फोर्स एक्सरसाइज ’खंजर’ आयोजित

• मेजबान किर्गिस्तान की राजधानी बिश्केक में किर्गिज़ गणराज्य के नेशनल गार्ड्स के विशेष बल ब्रिगेड में 8 वें भारत-किर्गिज़ संयुक्त विशेष बल अभ्यास "खंजर" का उद्घाटन किया गया। 2011 में पहली बार शुरू किए गए, दो सप्ताह तक चलने वाले विशेष ऑपरेशन में उच्च ऊंचाई वाले युद्ध क्षेत्र, पर्वत युद्ध और काउंटर-एक्सट्रीमिज़्म अभ्यासों पर ध्यान केंद्रित किया गया।
• अभ्यास के लिए भारतीय दल ने दोनों देशों के साझा पहाड़ और खानाबदोश विरासत को बढ़ावा देने में एक पुल के रूप में अपनी भूमिका का सम्मान किया। उपकरण और हथियारों के प्रदर्शन तथा प्रशिक्षण क्षेत्र और बैरक की यात्रा के साथ एक अधिकृत परेड ने इस अवसर की शोभा बढ़ाई।

BCCI: पाकिस्तान टीम को वीजा जारी करने पर सहमत

• भारतीय क्रिकेट कंट्रोल बोर्ड (BCCI) को पाकिस्तान क्रिकेट टीम के साथ-साथ आगामी T20 विश्व कप के लिए दौरा करने वाली मीडिया के लिए वीजा की मंजूरी मिल गई है जो इस वर्ष अक्टूबर में भारत में शुरू होने वाली है। कल बीसीसीआई की शीर्ष परिषद की बैठक में इसकी घोषणा की गई।
• बीसीसीआई ने शीर्ष परिषद को सूचित किया है कि भारत सरकार ने पाकिस्तान के क्रिकेटरों और टी 20 विश्व कप के लिए दौरा करने वाले मीडिया को वीजा जारी करने पर सहमति व्यक्त की है।
• जबकि विवरण पर अभी भी कार्य किया जा रहा है, शीर्ष परिषद के सदस्यों को सूचित किया गया था कि बोर्ड को वीजा पर सरकार से एक मंजूरी मिल गई है, भले ही प्रशंसकों द्वारा नियत समय पर मंत्रालय से फोन किया जाएगा। हालांकि, यह अभी भी भारतीय और पाकिस्तान क्रिकेट बोर्ड के बीच गतिरोध को नहीं तोड़ पाएगा।

नासा 22 अप्रैल को स्पेसएक्स क्रू 2 लॉन्च करेगा

• राष्ट्रीय एरोनॉटिक्स एंड स्पेस एडमिनिस्ट्रेशन (National Aeronautics and Space Administration) विश्व पृथ्वी दिवस (22 अप्रैल) पर अंतर्राष्ट्रीय अंतरिक्ष स्टेशन में चार अंतरिक्ष यात्रियों को लॉन्च करने के लिए तैयार है। नासा, स्पेसएक्स के साथ मिलकर मिशन लॉन्च करेगा। यह क्रू ड्रैगन स्पेसक्राफ्ट की दूसरी क्रू ऑपरेशनल फ्लाइट है।
• यह मिशन चार वैज्ञानिकों को अंतर्राष्ट्रीय अंतरिक्ष स्टेशन तक पहुंचाएगा। अंतर्राष्ट्रीय अंतरिक्ष स्टेशन की यात्रा करने वाले अंतरिक्ष यात्री NASA, JAXA और ESA से हैं। JAXA जापानी स्पेस एजेंसी है और ESA यूरोपियन स्पेस एजेंसी है।
• क्रू ड्रैगन नौ साल में अमेरिकी धरती से मनुष्यों को लॉन्च करने वाला पहला अंतरिक्ष यान था। इसे पहली बार मई 2020 में लॉन्च किया गया था।
• यह नासा के वाणिज्यिक क्रू कार्यक्रम के माध्यम से वित्त पोषित किया गया था। यह ड्रैगन 1 नामक पहले के डिजाइन से विकसित हुआ।

निर्देशक रॉबर्टो बेनिग्नि को लाइफटाइम अचीवमेंट अवार्ड प्राप्त

• निर्देशक रॉबर्टो बेनिगनी 78 वें वेनिस अंतर्राष्ट्रीय फिल्म महोत्सव में लाइफटाइम अचीवमेंट के लिए गोल्डन लायन प्राप्त करेंगे, जो 1 से 11 सितंबर तक चलता है। आयोजकों ने दो बार के ऑस्कर विजेता अभिनेता-निर्देशक के बारे में खबर की पुष्टि की।
• फिल्म निर्माता ने होलोकॉस्ट कॉमेडी-ड्रामा फिल्म लाइफ इज़ ब्यूटीफुल (1997) में अभिनय और निर्देशन किया था, जिसके लिए उन्हें सर्वश्रेष्ठ अभिनेता (गैर-अंग्रेज़ी भाषी पुरुष प्रदर्शन के लिए पहला) और सर्वश्रेष्ठ अंतर्राष्ट्रीय फ़ीचर फ़िल्म के लिए अकादमी पुरस्कार मिले। उन्हें आखिरी बार माटेओ गैरोन के लाइव-एक्शन पिनोचियो में देखा गया था, जिसके लिए उन्होंने डेविड डि डोनाटेलो पुरस्कार जीता था।

मोदी जी ने बाबासाहेब अम्बेडकर से संबंधित 4 पुस्तकों का विमोचन किया

• पीएम नरेंद्र मोदी ने भारत के पहले कानून मंत्री और भारतीय संविधान के निर्माता बाबासाहेब भीमराव अंबेडकर को उनकी जयंती पर श्रद्धांजलि दी और उनके जीवन पर आधारित चार पुस्तकों का विमोचन किया।
• पीएम मोदी ने वीडियो कांफ्रेंसिंग के माध्यम से भारतीय विश्वविद्यालयों के संघ के कुलपतियों की 95 वीं वार्षिक बैठक और राष्ट्रीय संगोष्ठी को संबोधित किया और किशोर मकवाना द्वारा लिखित डॉ. बीआर अंबेडकर से संबंधित चार पुस्तकों का शुभारंभ किया।

 मई 2021 में सुरेश रैना का संस्मरण ‘Believe’ रिलिज होगा

• 'बिलीव- व्हाट लाइफ एंड क्रिकेट टॉट मी (Believe - What Life and Cricket Taught Me)' नामक सुरेश रैना की बहुप्रतीक्षित आत्मकथा, मई 2021 में रिलीज़ के लिए तैयार है। यह पुस्तक रैना और खेल लेखक भरत सुंदरसन द्वारा सह-लेखित है, यह जीवनी प्रतिष्ठित प्रकाशन हाउस पेंगुइन इंडिया द्वारा प्रकाशित की जाएगी।

Tap water connection by 2022 in Madhya Pradesh

• Madhya Pradesh presented their Annual Action Plan (AAP)under Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM)today via video conferencing setting out the State’s action plan to provide tap water connections to rural households in 2021-22 as well as the saturation plan, so that every rural home of the State gets tap water supply in a time-bound manner. Madhya Pradesh is likely to get about Rs 3,000 Crore Central fund in 2021-22. Considering this quantum jump of allocation of almost 2.5 times of previous year, the State has to make provision for matching State share and prepare a realistic expenditure plan for effective utilization funds.
• A month-long planning exerciseis currently underway which involves two States/ UTs presenting their AAP dailyto a committee chaired by Secretary, Department of drinking Water & Sanitation, Ministry of Jal Shaktiand members from different Central Ministries/ Departments and NITI Aayog. The committee jointly reviews the proposed Annual Action Plan (AAP) before finalizing the same. Thereafter, fund is released in tranches throughout the year and regular field visits, review meetings are held to ensure implementation of the AAP to achieve the goal of Jal Jeevan Mission.
• Madhya Pradesh has 1.23 Crore rural households, out of which 37.69 lakh (31%) have tap water supply in their homes. In 2020-21, Madhya Pradesh has provided 19.89 lakh tap water connections and has been one of the top performers in the country under Jal Jeevan Mission. In 2021-22, the State has planned for saturation of 7 districts and 22 lakh new tap water connections.

 Manipur presented its annual Action Plan

• State of Manipur presented its Annual Action Plan under Jal Jeevan Mission today via video conferencing before the committee of the Department of Drinking Water & Sanitation, Ministry of Jal Shakti, with members from different Central Ministries/ Departments and NITI Aayog.
• Manipur has around 4.51 lakh rural households, out of which 2.27 lakh households have tap water supply, as on 31st March 2021. 1.96 lakh new tap water connections were provided in 2020-21 despite Covid- 19 pandemic. The State has planned for 100% saturation by 2021-22 under Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM) by providing tap water connections to remaining 2.25 lakh households.

 8th Indo-Kyrgyz Special Forces Exercise ‘Khanjar’ Flags off

• The 8th Indo-Kyrgyz Joint Special Forces Exercise “Khanjar” was inaugurated at the Special Forces Brigade of National Guards of the Kyrgyz Republic in Bishkek, the capital of the host Kyrgyzstan. Initiated first in 2011, the two-week-long special operations exercise focusses on high-altitude warfare, mountain warfare and counter-extremism exercises.
• The Indian contingent for the exercise and felicitated their role as a bridge in promoting the shared mountain and nomadic heritage of both nations. A ceremonial parade graced the occasion along with a display of equipment’s and weapons and a visit to the training arena and barracks.

BCCI agrees to issue visas to Pakistan team

• The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has got the approval for visas for the Pakistan cricket team as well as the touring media for the upcoming T20 World Cup that is scheduled to begin in India in October this year. It was announced at BCCI's Apex Council meeting yesterday.
• The BCCI has informed the apex council that the Indian government has agreed to issue visas to the Pakistan cricketers and the touring media for the T20 World Cup.
• While the details are still being worked out, the apex council members were informed that the Board has received a nod from the government over the visas, even though a call on the fans will be taken by the ministry in due course. However, this wouldn't yet break the deadlock between the Indian and Pakistan cricket boards.
• The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman Ehsan Mani had earlier said that they are looking for visas for not just the players and the media but also for their fans. A failure on that count from the Indian board will push them into asking the International Cricket Council (ICC) to host the tournament in UAE.

NASA to launch SpaceX Crew 2 on April 22

• The National Aeronautics and Space Administration is set to launch four astronauts to the International Space Station on World Earth Day (April 22). NASA is to launch the mission along with SpaceX. It is the second crewed operational flight of Crew Dragon Spacecraft.
• The mission will transport four scientists to the International Space Station. The astronauts to travel to the International Space Station are from NASA, JAXA and ESA. JAXA is the Japanese Space Agency and ESA is European Space Agency.
• Crew Dragon was the first space vehicle to launch humans from American soil in nine years. It was first launched in May 2020.
• It was funded through NASA’s Commercial Crew Programme. It evolved from an earlier design called Dragon 1.

Lifetime Achievement Award received by Director Roberto Benigni

• Director Roberto Benigni will be receiving the Golden Lion for Lifetime Achievement at the 78th Venice International Film Festival, which runs from September 1 to 11. The organisers confirmed the news about the two-time Oscar-winning actor-director.
• The filmmaker had starred in and directed the holocaust comedy-drama film Life Is Beautiful (1997), for which he received the Academy Awards for Best Actor (the first for a non-English speaking male performance) and Best International Feature Film. He was last seen in Matteo Garrone’s live-action Pinocchio, for which he won a David di Donatello Award.

Modi Ji released 4 books related to Babasaheb Ambedkar

• PM Narendra Modi has paid tribute to India’s first law minister and the architect of the Indian Constitution Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar on his birth anniversary and released four books based on his life. PM Modi has addressed the 95th Annual Meet and National Seminar of Vice-Chancellors of the Association of Indian Universities via video conferencing and launched four books related to Dr BR Ambedkar, written by Kishor Makwana.

 Suresh Raina’s memoir ‘Believe’ to release in May 2021

• A book titled ‘Believe – What Life and Cricket Taught Me’, the much-awaited Suresh Raina autobiography is set to hit the bookstands in May 2021. The book is Co-authored by Raina and sports author Bharat Sundaresan, the biography will be published by the prestigious publishing house, Penguin India.
• The book expected to follow Raina’s lightning-fast rise in the Indian cricket team and the hardships that he encountered on the way to becoming a record-breaking batsman. The book should also help unwind the story of Raina’s early days as a budding cricketer in UP.

• RBL Bank and Mastercard have announced their partnership to launch a mobile-based consumer-friendly payment solution ‘Pay by Bank App’, a first-of-its-kind payment functionality in India. RBL Bank account holders can now enjoy contactless transactions across the world through their mobile banking application both in-store and online. This functionality will be available at all Mastercard accepting merchants, worldwide that accept contactless and online payments.
• To provide enhanced security, ‘Pay by Bank App’ ensures that Bank customer’s payment credentials are never exposed to the merchant, making the transaction completely secure.
• Customers will continue to receive the Mastercard consumer protection benefits that they currently enjoy on their debit cards.
