75वां स्वतंत्रता दिवस: केंद्रीय सामाजिक न्याय एवं अधिकारिता मंत्री डॉ. वीरेंद्र कुमार ने 'ऑपरेशन ब्लू फ्रीडम' को हरी झंडी दिखाई

• केंद्रीय सामाजिक न्याय और अधिकारिता मंत्री डॉ वीरेंद्र कुमार ने 75 वें स्वतंत्रता दिवस के अवसर पर डॉ अंबेडकर इंटरनेशनल सेंटर, नई दिल्ली से 'ऑपरेशन ब्लू फ्रीडम ' नामक एक अग्रणी विश्व रिकॉर्ड अभियान को हरी झंडी दिखाई। ऑपरेशन ब्लू फ्रीडम अभियान में सियाचिन ग्लेशियर तक पहुंचने के लिए देश भर से विकलांग लोगों की एक टीम शामिल है, जो विश्‍व के सबसे ऊंचे युद्धक्षेत्र में पहुंचने वाले विकलांग लोगों की सबसे बड़ी टीम के लिए एक नया विश्व रिकॉर्ड बनाने के लिए है।
• विकलांग लोगों की टीम को सशस्त्र बलों के दिग्गजों की एक टीम ‘Team CLAW’ द्वारा प्रशिक्षित किया गया था। अभियान कुमार पोस्ट (सियाचिन ग्लेशियर) तक चलाया गया। यह कार्यक्रम डॉ. अम्बेडकर इंटरनेशनल सेंटर द्वारा आयोजित किया गया था, जो एक प्रमुख स्वायत्त अनुसंधान निकाय है, जो हाशिए के समुदायों को सशक्त बनाने और समाज में सामाजिक आर्थिक परिवर्तन लाने के लिए अनुसंधान और नीति फ़ीड प्रदान करने के लिए अनिवार्य है।

 भारत के प्रधान मंत्री ने 2047 तक 'ऊर्जा स्वतंत्र' बनने का लक्ष्य रखा

• प्रधान मंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने वर्ष 2047 तक 'ऊर्जा स्वतंत्र देश बनने का लक्ष्य रखा है, जिस वर्ष भारत स्वतंत्रता के 100 वें वर्ष का जश्न मनाएगा। इसके लक्ष्य को हासिल करने के लिए पीएम ने एक 'मिशन सर्कुलर इकोनॉमी' की शुरुआत की है जो 2047 तक भारत को ऊर्जा उत्पादन में आत्मनिर्भर बनाने के लिए पेट्रोलियम को ऊर्जा के अन्य रूपों से बदल देगी।
• मिशन सर्कुलर इकोनॉमी में इलेक्ट्रिक मोबिलिटी, गैस-आधारित अर्थव्यवस्था, पेट्रोल में डोपिंग इथेनॉल और देश को हाइड्रोजन उत्पादन का केंद्र बनाना शामिल होगा।
• मोदी सरकार ने भारत को एक नया वैश्विक हब और हरित हाइड्रोजन का निर्यातक बनाने के लिए राष्ट्रीय हाइड्रोजन मिशन स्थापित करने का निर्णय लिया है।

 75वां स्वतंत्रता दिवस: सरकार ने की 'प्रधानमंत्री गतिशक्ति योजना' की घोषणा

• प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने 75वें स्वतंत्रता दिवस पर लाल किले से राष्ट्र को संबोधित करते हुए 100 लाख करोड़ रुपये की प्रधानमंत्री गतिशक्ति योजना की घोषणा की है।प्रधान मंत्री गतिशक्ति योजना का उद्देश्य बुनियादी ढांचे के विकास में समग्र और एकीकृत दृष्टिकोण अपनाना और देश के युवाओं के लिए रोजगार के अवसर पैदा करना है। सरकार जल्द ही इस योजना के लिए मास्टर प्लान की घोषणा करेगी, जिससे उद्योगों की उत्पादकता को बढ़ावा देने और देश के आर्थिक विकास को बढ़ावा देने के अलावा सैकड़ों हजारों युवाओं के लिए रोजगार के अवसर पैदा होंगे।
• गति शक्ति हमारे देश के लिए एक राष्ट्रीय बुनियादी ढांचा मास्टर प्लान होगा जो समग्र बुनियादी ढांचे की नींव रखेगा और हमारी अर्थव्यवस्था के लिए एक एकीकृत और समग्र मार्ग का नेतृत्व करेगा।
• पीएम गति शक्ति योजना का उद्देश्य यात्रा के समय को कम करने, औद्योगिक उत्पादकता में सुधार, विनिर्माण को विश्व स्तर पर प्रतिस्पर्धी बनाने, भविष्य के आर्थिक क्षेत्रों को सुविधाजनक बनाने और रोजगार सृजित करने के लिए सड़क, रेल, हवाई और जलमार्ग के बीच के अंतर को तोड़ना है।

छत्तीसगढ़ के मुख्यमंत्री भूपेश बघेल ने राज्य में 4 नए जिलों और 18 नई तहसीलों की घोषणा की

• छत्तीसगढ़ के मुख्यमंत्री भूपेश बघेल ने राज्य में चार नए जिले और 18 नई तहसीलें बनाने की घोषणा की है। चार नए जिले हैं: मोहला मानपुर, सारंगढ़-बिलाईगढ़, शक्ति, मनेंद्रगढ़। चार नए जिले बनने के साथ ही राज्य में प्रशासनिक जिलों की कुल संख्या 32 हो गई है।
• इसके अलावा राज्य के प्रत्येक जिला मुख्यालय और नगर निगम में महिलाओं के लिए विशेष रूप से एक उद्यान विकसित किया जाएगा, जिसे “मिनिमाता उद्यान” के नाम से जाना जाएगा। पार्क का नाम 1952 में चुनी गई छत्तीसगढ़ की पहली महिला सांसद 'मिनिमाता' के नाम पर रखा गया है, जिन्होंने अपना जीवन महिला सशक्तिकरण और समाज की बेहतरी के लिए समर्पित कर दिया।

 75वां स्वतंत्रता दिवस: 75 नई "वंदे भारत" ट्रेनें भारत के सभी हिस्सों को जोड़ेगी

• प्रधान मंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने 75 वें स्वतंत्रता दिवस के अवसर पर राष्ट्र को संबोधित किया और घोषणा की कि 75 'वंदे भारत' ट्रेनें आजादी का अमृत महोत्सव के उत्सव के 75 सप्ताह में देश के विभिन्न हिस्सों को जोड़ेगी। 12 मार्च, 2021 से 15 अगस्त, 2023 तक मनाए जा रहे 'आजादी का अमृत महोत्सव' के 75 सप्ताह में 75 वंदे भारत ट्रेनें देश के कोने-कोने से जुड़ेंगी।
• वर्तमान में भारतीय रेलवे द्वारा देश में दो वंदे भारत एक्सप्रेस ट्रेनों का संचालन किया जा रहा है। पहली वंदे भारत एक्सप्रेस वाराणसी और नई दिल्ली के बीच चलती है और दूसरी वंदे भारत एक्सप्रेस कटरा और नई दिल्ली के बीच चलती है।

गोदरेज इंडिया बोर्ड से हटेंगे आदि गोदरेज, नादिर गोदरेज की जगह लेंगे

• आदि गोदरेज 01 अक्टूबर, 2021 को गोदरेज इंडस्ट्रीज के अध्यक्ष के रूप में पद छोड़ देंगे। उनकी जगह उनके छोटे भाई नादिर गोदरेज लेंगे।
• गोदरेज इंडस्ट्रीज गोदरेज समूह की होल्डिंग कंपनी है। वर्तमान में नादिर गोदरेज, गोदरेज इंडस्ट्रीज के प्रबंध निदेशक हैं। हालांकि, आदि गोदरेज, गोदरेज समूह के अध्यक्ष के रूप में अपनी सेवाए जारी रखेंगे।

पूर्व अंतरराष्ट्रीय डिफेंडर चिन्मय चटर्जी का निधन

• प्रख्यात भारत-अंतर्राष्ट्रीय फुटबॉलर चिन्मय चटर्जी, जिन्होंने 1970-80 के दशक में अपने प्रमुख समय में तीन मैदान हैवीवेट के लिए खेला था, का निधन हो गया है। वह 1978 के बैंकाक एशियाई खेलों में भारतीय टीम के सदस्य थे, जहां वे क्वार्टर फाइनल लीग में चौथे स्थान पर रहे थे।
• चटर्जी अपने घरेलू करियर के दौरान मोहन बागान, ईस्ट बंगाल और मोहम्मडन स्पोर्टिंग के लिए खेले। उन्होंने चार बार संतोष ट्रॉफी में बंगाल का प्रतिनिधित्व किया और उनमें से तीन में चैंपियन बने।

एचसीएल फाउंडेशन ने कारीगरों को सशक्त बनाने के लिए ‘My e-Haat’  पोर्टल लॉन्च किया

• एचसीएल टेक्नोलॉजीज की कॉर्पोरेट सामाजिक जिम्मेदारी शाखा एचसीएल फाउंडेशन ने कारीगरों को सशक्त बनाने और देश में हस्तशिल्प क्षेत्र की मूल्य श्रृंखला को मजबूत करने के लिए एक ऑनलाइन पोर्टल, 'माई ई-हाट' लॉन्च किया है। यह मंच कारीगरों और प्राथमिक उत्पादकों को अपने उत्पादों को सीधे ग्राहकों को सूचीबद्ध और प्रदर्शित करके अपना व्यवसाय संचालित करने में सक्षम करेगा, जिससे अनौपचारिक बिचौलियों और लंबी आपूर्ति श्रृंखलाओं को कम किया जा सकेगा। वर्तमान में, आठ राज्यों के 600 से अधिक उत्पादों के साथ 30 से अधिक भागीदार पोर्टल पर सूचीबद्ध हैं।
• माई ई-हाट पहल अपनी तरह का एक अनूठा मॉडल (A2C) होगा जहां कारीगर आने वाले वर्षों के लिए ग्राहक से सीधे जुड़ेंगे। यह पोर्टल देश भर के कुशल कारीगरों की प्रतिभा को विश्‍व के सामने लाने में मदद करेगा। यह उनकी मान्यता, प्रशंसा और पारिश्रमिक में भी वृद्धि करेगा।

75th Independence Day: Union Minister for Social Justice and Empowerment Dr. Virendra Kumar flagged off ‘Operation Blue Freedom’

• The Union Minister for Social Justice and Empowerment Dr Virendra Kumar has flagged off a pioneering world record expedition named ‘Operation Blue Freedom’ from Dr. Ambedkar International Centre, New Delhi on the occasion of 75th Independence Day. The Operation Blue Freedom expedition comprise of a team of people with disabilities from across the country to reach Siachen Glacier, to create a new World Record, for the largest team of people with disabilities reaching the world’s highest battlefield.
• The team of people with disabilities were trained by ‘Team CLAW’, a team of Armed Forces veterans. The expedition was undertaken till Kumar Post (Siachen Glacier). The event was organised by Dr. Ambedkar International Centre, a premier autonomous research body mandated to research and provide policy feed to empower marginalised communities and to bring in Socio Economic transformation in the society.

Prime Minister of India set target to become ‘energy independent’ by 2047

• Prime Minister Narendra Modi has set the target of becoming an ‘energy independent country by the year 2047, the year when India will celebrate the 100th year of Independence. For this, PM has announced a ‘Mission Circular Economy’ that will replace petroleum with other forms of energy to make India achieve self-reliance in energy production by 2047.
• Mission Circular Economy would include a mix of electric mobility, gas-based economy, doping ethanol in petrol and making the country a hub for hydrogen production.
• Modi government has decided to set up the National Hydrogen Mission to make India a new global hub and the exporter of green hydrogen.

75th Independence Day: Government announced ‘Prime Minister Gatishakti Scheme’

• Prime Minister Narendra Modi has announced a Rs 100 lakh crore Pradhan Mantri Gatishakti scheme while addressing the nation on the 75th Independence Day from Red Fort. The Pradhan Mantri Gatishakti scheme aims to adopt a holistic and integrated approach in infrastructure growth and create employment opportunities for the youth of the country. The government will soon announce the Master Plan for the scheme, to help boost the productivity of industries, and boost the economic growth of the country, besides creating job opportunities for hundreds of thousands of youths.
• Gati Shakti will be a national infrastructure master plan for our country that will lay the foundation of holistic infrastructure and will lead to an integrated and holistic pathway to our economy.
• The PM Gati Shakti scheme is aimed at breaking the silos between road, rail, air and waterways to reduce travel time, improving industrial productivity, making manufacturing globally competitive, facilitating future economic zones and creating employment.

Chhattisgarh CM Bhupesh Baghel announced 4 new districts & 18 new tehsils in the state

• Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has announced the creation of four new districts and 18 new tehsils in the state. The four new districts are: Mohla Manpur, Sarangarh-Bilaigarh, Shakti, Manendragarh. With the creation of four new districts, the total number of administrative districts in the state have reached 32.
• Apart from this, a garden will be developed exclusively for women in every district headquarter and the municipal corporation of the state, which will be known as the “Minimata Udyan”. The park has been named after ‘Minimata’, the first woman MP from Chhattisgarh elected in 1952, who devoted her life toward the empowerment of women and the betterment of society.

75th Independence Day: 75 new “Vande Bharat” trains will connect all parts of India

• Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the nation on the occasion of 75th Independence Day and announced that 75 ‘Vande Bharat’ trains would connect different parts of the country in 75 weeks of the celebration of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav. The 75 Vande Bharat trains will connect every corner of the country, in 75 weeks of the ‘Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav’, which is being celebrated from March 12, 2021, upto August 15, 2023.
• Presently two Vande Bharat Express trains are operating in the country by the Indian Railways. The first Vande Bharat Express operates between Varanasi and New Delhi and the other Vande Bharat Express operates between Katra and New Delhi.

Adi Godrej to step down from Godrej India board, will be replaced by Nadir Godrej

• Adi Godrej will step down as the chairman of Godrej Industries on October 01, 2021. He will be replaced by Nadir Godrej, his younger brother.
• Godrej Industries (GIL) is the holding company of the Godrej group. Presently Nadir Godrej is the Managing Director of Godrej Industries. However, Adi Godrej will continue to serve as the Chairman of Godrej Group.

 OBITUARY

Former international defender Chinmoy Chatterjee passed away

• Eminent India-international footballer Chinmoy Chatterjee, who played for the three Maidan heavyweights in his prime in the 1970-80s, has passed away. He was a member of the Indian team at the 1978 Bangkok Asian Games where they finished fourth in the quarterfinal league.
• Chatterjee played for Mohun Bagan, East Bengal and Mohammedan Sporting, during his domestic career. He also represented Bengal in the Santosh Trophy four times, and became champions in three of them.

 West Germany forward Legend Gerd Müller passed away

• Former West Germany forward and the Bayern Munich football legend, Gerd Muller has passed away. At the international level, he represented West Germany, scoring 68 goals in 62 appearances, and at the club level, he played for Bayern Munich, with which he scored a record 365 goals in 427 Bundesliga games.
• He was nicknamed “Bomber der Nation” (“the nation’s Bomber”) or simply “Der Bomber”, for his scoring prowess.

HCL Foundation launched ‘My e-Haat’ portal to empower artisans

• HCL Foundation, the corporate social responsibility arm of HCL Technologies has launched an online portal, ‘My e-Haat’, to empower artisans and strengthen the value chain of the handicraft sector in the country. The platform will enable artisans and primary producers to conduct their business, by listing and showcasing their products directly to customers, thereby minimising the informal intermediaries and the long supply chains. Currently, more than 30 partners from eight states with over 600 products are listed on the portal.
• The My E-Haat initiative will be a one-of-a-kind model (A2C) where artisans will directly connect with the customer for years to come. This portal would help in bringing the talent of skilled craftsmen from across the country to the world. It will also increase their recognition, appreciation and remuneration.
