ओडिशा ने स्वच्छता कार्यकर्ताओं के लिए GARIMA’ ’योजना शुरू की 

• ओडिशा के मुख्यमंत्री, नवीन पटनायक ने गरिमा ’नामक एक नई योजना शुरू की जिसका उद्देश्य राज्य में आर्थिक सुरक्षा और मुख्य स्वच्छता कार्यकर्ताओं की सामाजिक गरिमा सुनिश्चित करना है। प्रारंभ में, राज्य सरकार ने योजना के लिए 50 करोड़ रुपये के कोष का आवंटन किया है। 

• गरिमा योजना राज्य आवास और शहरी विकास विभाग द्वारा ओडिशा के सभी 114 शहरी स्थानीय निकायों (ULB) में लागू की जाएगी। 

• लगभग 20,000 कोर स्वच्छता कार्यकर्ताओं और उनके परिवारों के साथ लगभग एक लाख आबादी को योजना का लाभ मिलेगा। 

आंध्र प्रदेश सीएम जगन मोहन रेड्डी ने वाईएसआर आसरा ’योजना शुरू की; 87 लाख महिलाओं को लाभ 

• आंध्र प्रदेश के मुख्यमंत्री वाईएस जगन मोहन रेड्डी ने "आर्थिक और सामाजिक रूप से महिलाओं को सशक्त बनाने" के उद्देश्य से 'वाईएसआर आसरा' कार्यक्रम शुरू किया। 

• वाईएसआर आसरा योजना के तहत, आंध्र प्रदेश सरकार चार किश्तों में 11 अप्रैल, 2019 तक स्व-सहायता समूहों के बकाया बैंक ऋणों की प्रतिपूर्ति करेगी। 

• 27,169 करोड़ रुपये की कुल बकाया राशि की पहली किस्त के लिए 6,792.2 करोड़ रुपये 8.7 लाख एसएचजी से जुड़ी 87,74,674 महिलाओं के बैंकों को जारी किए गए थे। 

बैंकिंग और अर्थव्यवस्था

 Razorpay ने एसएमई के लिए संपार्श्विक ऋण मुक्त लाइन शुरू की 

• MSMEs को बचाने और अपने नकदी प्रवाह में सुधार करने के लिए, Razorpay ने नकद अग्रिम नाम की एक संपार्श्विक मुक्त लाइन शुरू की है। 

• MSMEs व्यवसाय के क्रेडिट इतिहास पर निर्भर करते हुए, Razorpay डैशबोर्ड के माध्यम से 10 सेकंड के भीतर 50,000 रुपये से 10 लाख रुपये की क्रेडिट सीमा के साथ कार्यशील पूंजी उधार ले सकते हैं। 

• इसके साथ, Razorpay का लक्ष्य 2020 के अंत तक 100 करोड़ रुपये तक के कारोबार का समर्थन करना है।

हाल ही में RJD छोड़ने वाले रघुवंश प्रसाद सिंह का निधन 

• पूर्व केंद्रीय मंत्री रघुवंश प्रसाद सिंह का नई दिल्ली में इलाज के दौरान निधन हो गया। सिंह, जिन्होंने हाल ही में राजद से इस्तीफा दे दिया था, गंभीर रूप से बीमार थे। 

• वह भारत की 15 वीं लोकसभा के सदस्य थे और बिहार के वैशाली निर्वाचन क्षेत्र का प्रतिनिधित्व करते थे। 

• प्रधान मंत्री मनमोहन सिंह के मंत्रिमंडल में ग्रामीण विकास के लिए केंद्रीय मंत्री बनाया गया था।

लुईस हैमिल्टन ने एफ 1 टस्कन ग्रांड प्रिक्स 2020 जीता 

• लुईस हैमिल्टन (मर्सिडीज-ग्रेट ब्रिटेन) ने 13 सितंबर, 2020 को आयोजित फॉर्मूला वन टस्कन ग्रांड प्रिक्स 2020 जीता है। यह उनकी सीजन की 6 वीं जीत थी और उनके करियर की 90 वीं एफ 1 जीत थी। 

• वाल्टेरी बोटास (मर्सिडीज-फ़िनलैंड) दूसरे स्थान पर रहा और तीसरे स्थान पर अलेक्जेंडर एल्बोन (रेड बुल - थाईलैंड) रहा। 

• टस्कन ग्रांड प्रिक्स (पहला संस्करण) 2020 फॉर्मूला वन वर्ल्ड चैम्पियनशिप की नौवीं दौड़ थी। 

नियुक्ति और इस्तीफे 

सिटीग्रुप के जेन फ्रेजर वॉल स्ट्रीट बैंक की पहली महिला सीईओ होंगी 

• बहुराष्ट्रीय निवेश बैंक, सिटीग्रुप ने जेन फ्रेजर को अपना अगला मुख्य कार्यकारी नामित किया, पहली बार एक विशाल वॉल स्ट्रीट बैंक का नेतृत्व करने के लिए एक महिला को नियुक्‍त किया गया है। 

• फ्रेजर ने मैड्रिड में एसेसोरस बर्सटाइल्स के लिए काम शुरू करने से पहले गोल्डमैन सैक्स ग्रुप इंक के विलय और अधिग्रहण विभाग लंदन में अपना करियर शुरू किया। वह 16 वर्षों से सिटीग्रुप के लिए काम कर रही है और 2019 से अपनी वर्तमान योग्‍यता में सेवा कर रही है। 

सुभाष कामथ ASCI के अध्यक्ष के रूप में चुने गए 

• सुभाष कामथ को विज्ञापन मानक परिषद (ASCI) के बोर्ड ऑफ गवर्नर्स के अध्यक्ष के रूप में चुना गया है।

• वह विज्ञापन एजेंसी BBH & Publicis Worldwide, India में मुख्य कार्यकारी हैं। वह सोनी पिक्चर्स नेटवर्क्स के अध्यक्ष रोहित गुप्ता का स्थान लेंगे।

भारत दुनिया में दूसरा सबसे तेजी से बढ़ता हुआ फ्रीलांस बाजार 

• 2020 में फ्रीलांसिंग: पायनियर द्वारा 'अवसर की प्रचुरता' (An Abundance of Opportunities’)पर एक रिपोर्ट के अनुसार, भारत इस साल फ्रीलांसरों की संख्या में भारी वृद्धि के साथ दुनिया में दूसरा सबसे तेजी से बढ़ने वाला फ्रीलांस बाजार है। 

• इसके अलावा, भारत ने रिपोर्ट के अनुसार Q1 से Q2, 2020 तक नए फ्रीलांसरों में 46 प्रतिशत की वृद्धि देखी। भारत के अलावा, गिग श्रमिकों के लिए अन्य लोकप्रिय बाजारों में अमेरिका, पाकिस्तान और यूक्रेन शामिल हैं।

राष्ट्रीय हिंदी दिवस 

• हिंदी दिवस भारत की आधिकारिक भाषा के रूप में हिंदी की लोकप्रियता का जश्न मनाने के लिए भारत में 14 सितंबर को मनाया जाने वाला एक वार्षिक दिवस है। 

• हिंदी दिवस 14 सितंबर को मनाया जाता है क्योंकि इस दिन 1949 में, भारत की संविधान सभा ने देवनागरी लिपि में लिखी गई हिंदी को भारत गणराज्य की आधिकारिक भाषा के रूप में अपनाया था।
• भारतीय संविधान के अनुच्छेद 343 के तहत भाषा को अपनाया गया था।

National 

Odisha Launches ‘GARIMA’ Scheme For Sanitation Workers 

• The Chief Minister of Odisha, Naveen Patnaik launched a new scheme named ‘GARIMA’ which aims to ensure the economic safety and social dignity of core sanitation workers in the state. Initially, the state government has allocated a corpus fund of Rs 50 crore for the scheme. 

• GARIMA Scheme will be implemented by state Housing and Urban Development department in all the 114 Urban Local Bodies (ULBs) of Odisha. 

• Around 20,000 core sanitation workers and their families with about one lakh population will benefit from the scheme. 

AP CM Jagan Mohan Reddy launches ‘YSR Aasara’ scheme; 87 lakh women to benefit 

• Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy launched the ‘YSR Aasara’ programme aimed at “empowering women economically and socially”. 

• Under the YSR Aasara scheme, Andhra Pradesh government will reimburse outstanding bank loans of self-help groups as on April 11, 2019, in four instalments. 

• Rs 6,792.2 crore towards the first installment of the total dues of Rs 27,169 crores was released to the banks of 87,74,674 women belonging to 8.7 lakh SHGs.

Razorpay launches collateral free line of credit for SMEs 

• In a bid to rescue MSMEs and improve their cash flows, Razorpay has launched a collateral free line of credit called Cash Advance. 

• MSMEs can borrow working capital with a credit limit of Rs 50,000 to Rs 10 lakh, within 10 seconds through the Razorpay dashboard, depending upon the credit history of the business. 

• With this, Razorpay aims to support businesses with upto Rs 100 crores of credit by end of 2020. 

Obituary

 Raghuvansh Prasad Singh, who recently quit RJD, passed away 

• Former Union minister Raghuvansh Prasad Singh passed away while undergoing treatment in New Delhi. Singh, who had recently resigned from RJD, had fallen critically ill. 

• He was a member of the 15th Lok Sabha of India and represented the Vaishali constituency of Bihar.Often called the architect of the MGNREGA scheme, which was floated when he was the Union minister for rural development in Prime Minister Manmohan Singh’s cabinet.

 Lewis Hamilton wins F1 Tuscan Grand Prix 2020 

• Lewis Hamilton (Mercedes-Great Britain) has won the Formula One Tuscan Grand Prix 2020 held on September 13, 2020. This was his 6th win of the season and 90th F1 win of his career. 

• Valtteri Bottas (Mercedes-Finland) came second followed by Alexander Albon (Red Bull – Thailand) at third place. 

• The Tuscan Grand Prix (first edition) was the ninth race of the 2020 Formula One World Championship.

 Jane Fraser named the first female CEO of Citigroup 

• Multinational investment bank, Citigroup named Jane Fraser as its next chief executive, tapping a woman to lead a giant Wall Street bank for the first time. 

• Fraser began her career at Goldman Sachs Group Inc’s mergers and acquisitions department in London, before starting to work for Asesores Bursátiles in Madrid. She has been working for Citigroup for 16 years and been serving in her current capacity since 2019.

Subhash Kamath elected as Chairman of ASCI 

• Subhash Kamath has been elected as the chairman of the board of governors of the Advertising Standards Council of India (ASCI). 

• He is the chief executive at advertising agency BBH & Publicis Worldwide, India.He will replace Rohit Gupta, president, Sony Pictures Networks. 

Ranking 

India is second-fastest-growing freelance market in the world 

• India is the second-fastest-growing freelance market in the world with a massive increase in the number of freelancers this year, according to a report on ‘freelancing in 2020: An Abundance of Opportunities’ by Pioneer. 

• Furthermore, India witnessed a 46 per cent increase in new freelancers from Q1 to Q2, 2020 as per the report. Apart from India, other popular markets for gig workers include the US, Pakistan, and Ukraine.

National Hindi Day 

• Hindi Divas or Hindi Day is an annual day celebrated on 14 September in India to celebrate the popularity of Hindi as an official language of the country. 

• Hindi Divas is celebrated on 14 September because on this day in 1949, the Constituent Assembly of India had adopted Hindi written in Devanagari script as the official language of the Republic of India. 

• The language was adopted under the Article 343 of the Indian Constitution.
