प्रधान मंत्री आवास योजना (ग्रामीण): प्रधान मंत्री गृहप्रवेश ’समारोह में भाग लेंगे

• प्रधान मंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी गृहप्रवेश ’समारोह में भाग लेंगे और मध्य प्रदेश में लगभग 1.75 लाख घरों का उद्घाटन करेंगे।
• मप्र के बैतूल जिले के उरदन गांव के सुभाष और सुशीला का घर हाल ही में प्रधानमंत्री आवास योजना के तहत पूरा हुआ है। 

स्वर्ण मंदिर के लिए एफसीआरए पंजीकरण

• गृह मंत्रालय (एमएचए) ने 9 सितंबर 2020 को विदेशी योगदान (विनियमन) अधिनियम (एफसीआरए), 2010 के तहत श्री हरमंदिर साहिब के पंजीकरण को मंजूरी दे दी है।
• श्री हरमंदिर साहिब अमृतसर में स्वर्ण मंदिर के रूप में प्रसिद्ध है। एफसीआरए 2010 के तहत पंजीकरण से स्वर्ण मंदिर को विदेशी धन प्राप्त होगा। एफसीआरए पंजीकरण पांच साल की अवधि के लिए वैध होगा।

 फरवरी 2021 में बेंगलुरु में 13 वां एयरो इंडिया -21 आयोजित किया जाएगा

• एयरो इंडिया -21 का 13 वां संस्करण 3 से 07 फरवरी 2021 तक कर्नाटक के बेंगलुरु के वायु सेना स्टेशन, येलहंका में आयोजित किया जाना है।
• रक्षा मंत्री, श्री राजनाथ सिंह ने एयरो इंडिया 2021 के लिए वेबसाइट लॉन्च की है, ताकि प्रदर्शक अपना स्थान ऑनलाइन पंजीकृत कर सकें और व्यवसाय और अन्य आगंतुक शो देखने के लिए ऑनलाइन टिकट खरीद सकें।
• वेबसाइट https://aeroindia.gov.in पर देखा जा सकता है।
• एयरो इंडिया एशिया का सबसे बड़ा एयर शो है और 1996 से द्विवार्षिक रूप से बेंगलुरु में विमानन प्रदर्शनी आयोजित की जाती है।

 मेघालय सरकार ने भारत का सबसे बड़ा "Piggery Mission" किया लॉन्च

• मेघालय सरकार द्वारा 209 करोड़ रुपये के कुल परिव्यय वाला भारत का सबसे बड़ा "Piggery Mission" लॉन्च किया गया है। इसे मेघालय पशुधन उद्यम उन्नति सोसायटी (MLEADS) के तत्वावधान में और राष्ट्रीय सहकारी विकास निगम (NCDC) द्वारा वित्त पोषित किया जा रहा है। इस मिशन का मुख्य उद्देश्य अगले 3 वर्षों में 150 करोड़ रुपये के पोर्क वार्षिक आयात को कम करना और मेघालय को Pork (सुअर के मांस) उत्पादन में "आत्मनिर्भर" बनाना है।
• पिग्गरी प्रोजेक्ट का लक्ष्य पिग्गी सेक्टर में क्वालिटी एनहांसमेंट, स्किल डेवलपमेंट, वैल्यू एडिशन और इनपुट कॉस्ट ऑप्टिमाइजेशन के जरिए परिवर्तन है। “Piggery Mission” के माध्यम से राज्य में किसानों को ब्याज मुक्त ऋण प्रदान किया जाएगा। राज्य सरकार किसानों को ऋण लेने के लिए प्रोत्साहित करने के लिए ब्याज का भुगतान करेगी।

5G पर साथ काम कर रहे भारत-अमेरिका-इस्राइल, भविष्य की तकनीक और विकास क्षेत्र में बढ़ेगा सहयोग

• भविष्य की तकनीक और विकास के क्षेत्र में भारत, अमेरिका और इस्राइल ने सहयोग शुरू कर दिया है। इस सिलसिले में एक पारदर्शी, टिकाऊ और सुरक्षित 5-जी नेटवर्क तैयार करना भी शामिल है। अमेरिका की अंतरराष्ट्रीय विकास संबंधी शीर्ष एजेंसी यूएसएआईडी की उच्च अधिकारी बॉनी ग्लिक ने यह जानकारी दी है।
• अमेरिकी अधिकारी बॉनी ग्लिक ने कहा- बेंगलुरु, सिलिकॉन वैली व तेल अवीव में होगा कार्य।
• शोध तीनों देशों के तीन टेक्नोलॉजी हब बेंगलुरु, सिलिकॉन वैली और तेल अवीव शहरों में होगी। ये तीनों देश नहीं चाहते हैं कि चीन की कंपनियां इस मामले में विस्तार करें और उन्हें पिछड़ना पड़े।
• अमेरिका में भारतीय समुदाय के नेता एमआर रंगास्वामी ने बताया कि तीन देशों के बीच तकनीकी क्षेत्र में यह सहयोग प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी की विदेश यात्राओं में हुए कार्यक्रमों का परिणाम है। उन्होंने कहा, जो भारतीय अमेरिका या इस्राइल में रहते हैं उनके और स्थानीय लोगों के बीच संबंध बेहतर हुए हैं और इसमें पीएम मोदी का काफी योगदान है। इस लिहाज से जुलाई 2017 में पीएम का इस्राइल दौरा ऐतिहासिक रहा है।

रिलायंस $ 200 bn M-Cap को पार करने वाली पहली भारतीय फर्म बनी

• रिलायंस इंडस्ट्रीज (आरआईएल) 10 सितंबर, 2020 को बाजार पूंजीकरण (एम-कैप) में $ 200 बिलियन पार करने वाली पहली भारतीय कंपनी बनी।
• 10 सितंबर, 2020 को शेयर बाजार के पास रिलायंस इंडस्ट्रीज का बाजार पूंजीकरण 15.3 ट्रिलियन ($ 208 बिलियन) था।
• आरआईएल के बाद दूसरा सबसे अच्छा टाटा कंसल्टेंसी सर्विसेज (टीसीएस) है, जिसमें 8.75 ट्रिलियन ($ 119 मिलियन) का एम-कैप है।

मूडीज ने वित्त वर्ष 2021 के लिए भारत के GDP को -11.5%, वित्त वर्ष 2022 के लिए 10.6% अनुमानित की

• रेटिंग एजेंसी मूडीज ने C-19 महामारी के कारण भारत के लिए वित्त वर्ष 2020-21 (FY21) में 11.5 प्रतिशत अनुबंध करने के लिए जीडीपी विकास दर का अनुमान लगाया है।
• 2021-22 (FY22) के लिए, मूडी ने भारत की अर्थव्यवस्था को 10.6 प्रतिशत बढ़ने का अनुमान लगाया।

 विज्ञान और तकनीक

नैसकॉम फ्यूचरस्किल्स और माइक्रोसॉफ्ट ने एआई क्लासरूम सीरीज लॉन्च की

• देश के कौशल विकास को बढ़ावा देने के लिए प्राथमिकता के आधार पर चलाए जा रहे अपने प्रयासों के तहत नैसकॉम फ्यूचरस्किल्स और माइक्रोसॉफ्ट ने देश भर में एआई सिखाने की पहल शुरू करने के लिए आपस में सहयोग किया है। इस पहल का उद्देश्य वर्ष 2021 तक 1 मिलियन छात्रों को एआई का कौशल सिखाना है।
• इस सहयोग के तहत छात्रों को लाइव डेमो, वर्कशॉप्स और असाइनमेंट सहित आसानी से समझ आने वालो मॉड्यूल्स की सहायता से माइक्रोसॉफ्ट की एआई, मशीन लर्निंग और डेटा साइंस विशेषज्ञता की जानकारी दी जाएगी। एआई से जुड़े इन शुरुआती सत्रों के लिए स्नातक छात्रों को कोई शुल्क नहीं लिया जाएगा और इनमें डेटा सांइस, एजूरे पर मशीन लर्निंग मॉडल्स, और इंटेलिजेंट सोल्यूशन बनाने के लिए कॉग्निटिव समझ से जुड़ी आधारभूत जानकारी दी जाएगी।

यूनिसेफ ने आयुष्मान खुराना को बनाया बाल अधिकार अभियान का ‘सेलिब्रिटी एडवोकेट’

• संयुक्त राष्ट्र बाल कोष (United Nations Children’s Fund - UNICEF) ने बॉलीवुड अभिनेता आयुष्मान खुराना को बच्चों के अधिकारों के लिए चलाए जा रहे अभियान, "For Every Child" के लिए अपना ‘सेलिब्रिटी एडवोकेट’ (Celebrity Advocate) बनाया है। वह भारत में इस पहल की दिशा में काम करेंगे। वह बच्चों के खिलाफ हिंसा को रोकने के लिए यूनिसेफ के प्रयासों समर्थन करेंगे, क्योंकि वर्तमान में विशेष रूप से C-19 विस्तारित तालाबंदी और महामारी के सामाजिक-आर्थिक प्रभावों के कारण बच्चों के खिलाफ हिंसा और दुरुपयोग का खतरा बढ़ रहा है।

ग्लोबल इकोनॉमिक फ्रीडम इंडेक्स 2020 में भारत रहा 105 वें स्थान पर

• कनाडा के फ्रेजर इंस्टीट्यूट द्वारा "Global Economic Freedom Index 2020 Annual Report" में भारत को 105 वें स्थान पर रखा गया है, इसे भारत में नई दिल्ली स्थित थिंक टैंक सेंटर फॉर सिविल सोसायटी के संयोजन में जारी किया गया है। यह विश्व आर्थिक स्वतंत्रता का 24 वां संस्करण है।
• रैंकिंग 2018 के आंकड़ों और अंतरराष्ट्रीय व्यापार पर कई नए प्रतिबंधों, नॉन-परफॉर्मिंग एसेट्स (एनपीए) पर आधारित है और इसका कोविड-19 के ऋण और घाटे के कारण ऋण बाजार के कसने से भारत के स्कोर पर असर नहीं पड़ा है। रैंकिंग के आधार पर रिपोर्ट को 4 भागों में विभाजित किया गया है।

इंटरनेशनल डे फॉर साउथ-साउथ कोऑपरेशन: 12 सितंबर

• प्रत्‍येक वर्ष 12 सितंबर को विश्व स्तर पर इंटरनेशनल डे फॉर साउथ-साउथ कोऑपरेशन यानि दक्षिण-दक्षिण सहयोग का अंतर्राष्ट्रीय दिवस मनाया जाता है। यह दिन दक्षिण के क्षेत्रों और देशों द्वारा हाल के वर्षों में किए गए आर्थिक, सामाजिक और राजनीतिक विकास को चिन्हित करने के लिए मनाया जाता है। विकासशील देशों में पारस्परिक सहयोग को बढ़ावा देने के लिए संयुक्त राष्ट्र के प्रयासों को भी उजागर करता है।
• दक्षिण-दक्षिण सहयोग की शुरुआत 1949 में आर्थिक और सामाजिक परिषद द्वारा संयुक्त राष्ट्र तकनीकी सहायता कार्यक्रम की स्थापना और 1969 में संयुक्त राष्ट्र विकास कार्यक्रम (यूएनडीपी) के निर्माण के साथ हुई थी। वर्ष 1978 में, TCDC पर ग्लोबल साउथ सम्मेलन का आयोजन विकासशील देशों के बीच तकनीकी सहयोग को बढ़ावा देने और लागू करने के लिए ब्यूनस आयर्स प्लान ऑफ एक्शन (BAPA) को अपनाया। इसे दक्षिण-दक्षिण सहयोग के मुख्य स्तंभों में से एक माना जाता है।

 विश्व प्राथमिक उपचार दिवस 2020: 12 सितंबर

• World First Aid Day 2020: हर साल सितंबर के दूसरे शनिवार को दुनिया भर में चोटों को रोकने और जीवन को बचाने में प्राथमिक चिकित्सा के महत्व के बारे में जागरूकता फैलाने करने के लिए वर्ल्‍ड फर्स्ट एड डे यानि विश्व प्राथमिक उपचार दिवस मनाया जाता है। इस वर्ष 12 सितंबर को विश्व प्राथमिक उपचार दिवस मनाया जा रहा है।
• इस दिन की शुरुआत वर्ष 2000 में इंटरनेशनल फेडरेशन ऑफ रेड क्रॉस और रेड क्रीसेंट सोसाइटीज (IFRC) द्वारा प्राथमिक उपचार की जरूरत और प्राथमिक उपचार करने के सही तरीके और प्राथमिक उपचार के लाभ के बारे लोगों को शिक्षित करने के लिए की थी।

Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Gramin):PM to participate in ‘Griha Pravesh’ ceremony virtually

• Prime Minister Narendra Modi will participate in ‘Griha Pravesh’ ceremony and virtually inaugurate 1.75 lakh houses in Madhya Pradesh.
• The house of Subhash and Sushila of Urdan village of Betul district of MP has been completed recently under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana.

 Golden Temple gets FCRA Registration

• The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has approved registration of the Sri Harmandir Sahib under the Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act (FCRA), 2010 on 9 September 2020.
• Sri Harmandir Sahib is famous as Golden Temple in Amritsar. The registration under FCRA 2010 will allow the Golden Temple to receive foreign funds. The FCRA registration will be valid for a period of five years.

 13th Aero India-21 to be held in Bengaluru in Feb 2021

• The 13th edition of Aero India-21 is scheduled to be held at Air Force Station, Yelahanka, Bengaluru, Karnataka from 3 to 07 February 2021.
• Raksha Mantri, Shri Rajnath Singh has launched the website for Aero India 2021, so that the exhibitors can register and book their space online as well as Business and other visitors buy their tickets online to visit the show.
• The website can be accessed at https://aeroindia.gov.in
• Aero India is Asia’s largest air show and aviation exhibition held biennially in Bengaluru since 1996.

 Meghalaya launched India’s largest “Piggery Mission”

• The state government of Meghalaya has launched India’s Biggest “Piggery Mission” with an outlay of Rs 209 Crores.
• It is being launched under the aegis of Meghalaya Livestock Enterprises Advancement Society (MLEADS) and funded by the National Cooperative Development Corporation (NCDC).
• The main objective of the Piggery Mission is to reduce the annual import of Pork worth Rs 150 Crore and make Meghalaya self-sufficient (“Aatma Nirbhar”) in pork production over the next 3 years.

India, U.S. and Israel collaborating in 5G tech

• India, Israel and the United States have begun collaboration in developmental area, and in next generation of emerging technologies, including a transparent, open, reliable and secure 5G communication network.
• It was announced at the virtual US-India-Israel summit that focused on trilateral partnerships in the strategic, technology and development arenas.
• The branching out of this trilateral initiative in development and technological arena is a result of the people-to-people collaboration, in particular those by Indian diaspora in the US and Israel, that was initiated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his historic visit to Israel three years ago in July 2017.

Reliance Industries becomes first Indian firm to cross $200 bn m-cap

• Reliance Industries (RIL) on September 10, 2020, became the first Indian company to cross $200 billion in market capitalization (m-cap).
• The market capitalization of Reliance Industries at the close of the stock market on September 10, 2020, was Rs 15.3 trillion ($208 billion).
• The second best after RIL is Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) with an m-cap of Rs 8.75 trillion, ($119 billion).

 Moody’s forecasts India’s GDP at -11.5% for FY21, 10.6% for FY22

• Ratings agency Moody’s has projected the GDP growth rate for India to contract 11.5 percent in the fiscal 2020-21 (FY21) due to the C-19 pandemic.
• For 2021-22 (FY22), Moody’s projected the economy of India to grow at 10.6 percent.

Microsoft, Nasscom’s FutureSkills to launch AI-skilling initiative in India

• Microsoft in collaboration with Nasscom’s FutureSkills will launch a nation-wide initiative in India to skill students in Artificial Intelligence.
• The initiative aims to skill 1 million students by 2021.
• As part of the collaboration, Microsoft and Nasscom experts will skill the students in AI, machine learning and data science through modules such as live demos, hands-on workshops and assignments as part of the AI classroom series.

UNICEF appoints Ayushmann Khurrana for children’s rights campaign

• United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) has appointed Bollywood Actor Ayushmann Khurrana as its celebrity advocate for children’s rights campaign, ”For Every Child”.
• He will work towards this initiative in India. He will support UNICEF to end violence against children.

India ranked 105th in Global Economic Freedom Index 2020; Top- Hong Kong

• India (Score- 6.56/10) has been ranked 105th in the Global Economic Freedom Index 2020 released by the Fraser Institute, Canada. HongKong (Score- 8.94/10) has topped the ranking followed by Singapore at the second spot.
• India has fallen 26 spots from 79th spot in last year’s ranking. Venezuela has been ranked last among 162 countries. The rankings are prepared based on the data of the year 2018.
• The index measures the degree to which the policies and institutions of countries are supportive of economic freedom. The Index ranks countries based on five areas—the size of government, legal structure and property rights, access to sound money, freedom to trade internationally, regulation of credit, labour and business.

International Day for South-South Cooperation

• International Day for South-South Cooperation is observed globally on 12th September every year. The day celebrates the economic, social and political developments made in recent years by regions and countries in the south.
• Theme for 2020 is “Pathways toward the SDGs through South-South solidarity beyond C-19.”
• It also highlights the UN’s efforts to work on technical cooperation among developing countries.

 World First Aid Day 2020

• The World First Aid Day is observed on the second Saturday of September every year to create awareness about importance of first aid in preventing injuries and saving lives. The World First Aid Day 2020 is being observed on 12 September.
• The day was started by the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) in 2000 to educate people in the world of the benefits of first aid, need of first aid and the right way to do first aid.
