उतर प्रदेश स्टार्ट-अप नीति-2020 को कैबिनेट की मंजूरी

प्रदेश के हर जिले में कम से कम एक इनक्यूबेटर की स्थापना की जाएगी, प्रदेश में कुल सौ इन्क्यूबेटर स्थापित किए जाएंगे। इन्क्यूबेटर्स को सब्सिडी के साथ संचालन के लिए आर्थिक सहायता भी मुहैया कराई जाएगी। खासतौर पर पूर्वांचल और बुंदेलखंड क्षेत्र में स्टार्ट-अप को प्रोत्साहन दिया जाएगा।

मंगलवार को आयोजित कैबिनेट की बैठक में उतर प्रदेश स्टार्ट-अप नीति -2020 को मंजूरी दी गई। नई नीति से प्रदेश में 50 हजार लोगों को प्रत्यक्ष और एक लाख लोगों को अप्रत्यक्ष रूप से रोजगार मिलेगा। स्टार्ट-अप नीति से प्रदेश के युवा रोजगार आकांक्षी की जगह रोजगार प्रदाता बनेंगे। 

प्रदेश सरकार के प्रवक्ता ने बताया कि वर्तमान में प्रदेश में 1800 से अधिक स्टार्टअप इकाइयां उद्योग संवर्धन एवं आतंरिक व्यापार विभाग भारत सरकार के साथ पंजीकृत हुई है। उन्होने बताया कि प्रदेश की कोई स्टार्ट-अप नीति नहीं होने है। वहीं कृषि, चिकित्सा एवं स्वास्थ्य, ऊर्जा, खादी, शिक्षा, पर्यटन, परिवहन के क्षेत्र में स्टार्टअप को प्रोत्साहन देने के लिए उतर प्रदेश स्टार्ट-अप नीति-2020 लागू की जाएगी। 

राज्‍यो मे ऋण लेने के मामले मे तमिलनाडु शीर्ष पर -

• भारतीय रिजर्व बैंक (RBI) के आंकड़ों के अनुसार, तमिलनाडु ने वित्त वर्ष 2020-21 में 30,500 करोड़ रुपये उधार लिए है जो अन्‍य राज्‍यो मे ऋण लेने के मामले मे शीर्ष पर है।
• तमिलनाडु, जिसे बॉन्ड के मुद्दे (राज्य विकास ऋण के रूप में जाना जाता है) के माध्यम से किए गए उधार का 17% हिस्सा महाराष्ट्र द्वारा पीछा किया गया है।

श्रीलंका और मालदीव बने खसरा और रूबेला फ्री देश-WHO

सतर्कता बरती जाए तो हालात को काबू में किया जा सकता है। श्रीलंका और मालदीव ने सतर्कता बरतते हुए खसरा और रूबेला जैसे संक्रामक रोगों पर काबू पा लिया है। संयुक्त राष्ट्र स्वास्थ्य एजेंसी ने बुधवार को कहा कि श्रीलंका और मालदीव ने अपने देशों में तय लक्ष्य 2023 से पहले खसरा और रूबेला को समाप्त कर दिया है। ये दोनों पहले ऐसे देश बन गए हैं जो खसरा और रूबेला फ्री देश है।

डब्ल्यूएचओ दक्षिण पूर्व एशिया की क्षेत्रीय निदेशक पूनम खेत्रपाल सिंह ने एक बयान में कहा कि जब दुनिया C-19 वायरस से जूझ रही है ऐसे में बीमारी से निपटने में यह सफलता उत्साह बढ़ाने वाली है और संयुक्त प्रयासों की अहमियत को दर्शाती है।

किसी देश को खसरा और रूबेला से मुक्त तब समझा जाता है जब देश में तीन साल से अधिक समय तक संक्रमण फैलने के कोई साक्ष्य नहीं हो और देशों में संतोषजनक काम कर रहा निगरानी तंत्र हो।

AIIB ने L&T इंफ्रा फाइनेंस लिमिटेड को विभिन्न परियोजनाओं के लिए दिए 50 मिलियन डॉलर

एशियन इन्फ्रास्ट्रक्चर इन्वेस्टमेंट बैंक (AIIB) ने L&T इंफ्रास्ट्रक्चर फाइनेंस लिमिटेड को 50 मिलियन डॉलर का ऋण देने की घोषणा की है। यह राशि देश में अक्षय ऊर्जा परियोजनाओं के वित्तपोषण के लिए एलएंडटी इन्फ्रास्ट्रक्चर फाइनेंस लिमिटेड को 100 मिलियन डॉलर के ऋण समझौते के तहत दी गई पहली किश्त है। इस ऋण को भारत में बड़ी और मध्यम स्तर की पवन और सौर ऊर्जा परियोजनाओं के लिए ऋण देने के लिए बेजिंग-आधारित बहुपक्षीय विकास बैंक द्वारा बढ़ाया गया है।

एशियन इंफ्रास्ट्रक्चर इन्वेस्टमेंट बैंक (AIIB) द्वारा L&T फाइनेंस होल्डिंग्स की इकाई के लिए मंजूर किया गया 100 मिलियन डॉलर का ऋण भारत में गैर-बैंकिंग वित्तीय कंपनी (NBFC) के लिए AIIB का पहला ऋण है। 

सम्‍मेलन और समझौते

CBDT और SEBI ने डेटा एक्सचेंज के लिए समझौता ज्ञापन पर किए हस्ताक्षर

केंद्रीय प्रत्यक्ष कर बोर्ड (Central Board of Direct Taxes - CBDT) और भारतीय प्रतिभूति और विनिमय बोर्ड (Securities and Exchange Board of India SEBI) ने डेटा एक्सचेंज करने के लिए समझौते पर हस्ताक्षर किए हैं। इस समझौते से दोनों संगठनों द्वारा आपस में स्वचालित और नियमित रूप से सूचना और डेटा का आदान-प्रदान किया जाएगा। दोनों संगठन डेटा के नियमित रूप से डेटा के आदान-प्रदान के लिए विभिन्न कानूनों के तहत अपने कार्यों को पूरा करने के उद्देश्य से, अनुरोधों और अपनी और से संबंधित डेटाबेस में उपलब्ध किसी भी जानकारी के लिए एक-दूसरे के साथ आदान-प्रदान करेंगे।

इस पहल के लिए, एक डेटा एक्सचेंज संचालन समूह (Data Exchange Steering Group) भी गठित किया गया है, जो समय-समय पर डेटा एक्सचेंज स्थिति की समीक्षा करेगा और डेटा-शेयरिंग व्यवस्था की प्रभावशीलता को और बेहतर बनाने के लिए कदम उठाएगा। 

BDL ने DRDO के साथ आकाश मिसाइल के लिए लाइसेंस और TOT एग्रीमेंट पर किए हस्ताक्षर

भारत डायनामिक्स लिमिटेड (BDL) ने रक्षा अनुसंधान एवं विकास संगठन और रक्षा अनुसंधान एवं विकास एवं प्रयोगशाला (Defence Research and Development Organisation–Defence Research and Development Laboratory) के साथ आकाश मिसाइल वीपन सिस्टम (भारतीय सेना वेरिएंट) के लिए लाइसेंस और ट्रांसफर ऑफ़ टेक्नोलॉजी (TOT) एग्रीमेंट पर हस्ताक्षर किए हैं।

• आकाश मिसाइल भारत में निर्मित पहली मध्यम-श्रेणी की सर्फेस टू एयर मिसाइल है जो अलग-अलग जगह पर कई लक्ष्यों को भेदने में सक्षम है.
• यह मिसाइल 18 किमी की अधिकतम ऊंचाई पर लगभग 860 मीटर प्रति सेकंड की रफ्तार से वार कर सकती है.
• आकाश मिसाइल डीआरडीओ द्वारा डिजाइन और विकसित की गई और बीडीएल द्वारा निर्मित है.
• आकाश का उपयोग करके हवा में 30 किलोमीटर की दूरी पर जेट, ड्रोन, सतह से हवा में मार करने वाली मिसाइलों जैसे हवाई लक्ष्यों को गिराया जा सकता है.
• इस मिसाइल को टैंक और ट्रकों जैसे मोबाइल प्लेटफार्मों से भी लॉन्च किया जा सकता है।

आईओसी को ईयू ग्रीन बिल्डिंग लीडरशिप अवार्ड 2020

• अंतर्राष्ट्रीय ओलंपिक समिति (IOC) ने घोषणा की है कि लॉज़ेन में अपने नए मुख्यालय को यूरोपीय 2020 यूएस ग्रीन बिल्डिंग काउंसिल (USGBC) लीडरशिप अवार्ड से सम्मानित किया गया है।
• ओलंपिक हाउस, जो सख्‍त LEED प्लेटिनम प्रमाणन भी रखता है, दुनिया की सबसे टिकाऊ इमारतों में से एक है।
• ओलंपिक हाउस स्विस सस्टेनेबल कंस्ट्रक्शन स्टैंडर्ड (SNBS) के उच्चतम (प्लेटिनम) स्तर को प्राप्त करने वाला पहला अंतर्राष्ट्रीय मुख्यालय और दूसरा भवन है।

Google ने अपने नेटवर्किंग ऐप Google+ को Google Currents के रूप में रीलॉन्च किया

• इंटरनेट खोज की दिग्गज कंपनी Google ने 7 जुलाई 2020 को अपने पूर्व सोशल नेटवर्किंग प्लेटफ़ॉर्म Google+ को Google Currents के रूप में आधिकारिक तौर पर रीलॉन्च किया है। नया ऐप व्यवसायों और एंटरप्राइज़ उपयोगकर्ताओं के लिए अधिक लक्षित है।
• कंपनी ने फेसबुक की पसंद के साथ प्रतिस्पर्धा करने के लिए एक सामाजिक नेटवर्क प्लेटफॉर्म के रूप में Google प्लस लॉन्च किया। हालाँकि कम उपयोग और हाल ही में खोजे गए कुछ सुरक्षा बग के कारण, अप्रैल 2019 में Google+ बंद हो गया था।
• ऐप का नवीनतम संस्करण एंड्रॉइड और आईओएस सिस्टम पर डाउनलोड के लिए उपलब्ध है। हालाँकि, URL plus.google.com कार्य करता रहेगा और स्वचालित रूप से उपयोक्ताओं को करेंट्स.google.com पर पुनर्निर्देशित करेगा।

UP Cabinet approves State Startup Policy 2020

• Uttar Pradesh cabinet has approved the UP Startup Policy 2020 with an aim to invite new business ideas in the state. The policy aims to set up 100 incubators in all 75 districts.
• It is expected to generate over 1.5 lakh employment opportunities including around 50,000 direct jobs in the state. The cabinet meeting was chaired by CM Yogi Adityanath. 

Tamil Nadu tops market borrowings among States

• According to data from the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), Tamil Nadu has raised Rs. 30,500 crores in the fiscal 2020-21 and has topped market borrowings among States in the country.
• Tamil Nadu, which has accounted for 17% of the borrowings done through the issue of bonds (known as state development loans), has been followed by Maharashtra Rs. 25,500 crores (14%), Andhra Pradesh Rs. 17,000 crores (9%) and Rajasthan Rs. 17,000 crores (9%). 

International

Maldives & Sri Lanka eliminate measles & rubella, ahead of 2023 target

• According to the World Health Organisation’s (WHO), South-East Asian Region (SEAR) office, Maldives and Sri Lanka were verified for having eliminated measles and rubella.
• Now, Maldives and Sri Lanka are the first two countries in the WHO South-East Asia Region to achieve measles and rubella elimination ahead of the 2023 target.
• The Maldives reported last endemic case of measles in 2009 and of rubella in October 2015, while Sri Lanka reported last endemic case of measles in May 2016 and of rubella in March 2017.

AIIB provides USD 50 mn to L&T Infra Finance for renewable energy

• L&T Infrastructure Finance Company Ltd (LTIFCL) has received USD 50 million from the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB), for funding Renewable Energy projects in the country.
• The loan amount is first tranche of the total USD 100-million ECB (External Commercial Borrowing) loan approved by Beijing-based AIIB.
• The fund will be used for on-lending large and mid-scale wind and solar power infrastructure projects in India. Also, this is the first loan by AIIB to a non-banking financial company (NBFC) in India.

CBDT, SEBI signs MoU for data exchange between the organizations

• Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) and the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for data exchange between the two organizations.
• The MoU was signed by Smt. Anu J. Singh, Pr. DGIT (Systems), CBDT, and Smt. Madhabi Puri Buch, Whole Time Member, SEBI in the presence of senior officers from both the organizations via video conference. 

BDL signs licence agreement & ToT with DRDO

• Bharat Dynamics Limited (BDL) has signed License Agreement and Transfer of Technology (ToT) with Defence Research and Development Organisation–Defence Research and Development Laboratory (DRDO–DRDL) for Akash Missile Weapon System (Indian Army Variant).
• Akash Missile is the first medium-range Surface to Air missile produced in India which can engage multiple targets from multiple directions.

IOC receives EU Green Building Leadership Award 2020

• The International Olympic Committee (IOC) has announced that its new headquarters in Lausanne has been awarded the European 2020 US Green Building Council (USGBC) Leadership Award.
• Olympic House, which also holds the rigorous LEED Platinum certification, is one of the most sustainable buildings in the world.
• The Olympic House is the first international headquarters and the second building overall to obtain the highest (Platinum) level of the Swiss Sustainable Construction Standard (SNBS). 

Science and Technology

Google Rebrands its Social Networking App Google+ as Google Currents

• Internet search giant Google has officially relaunched its former social networking platform Google+ as Google Currents on 7th July 2020. The new app is targeted more towards businesses and enterprise users.
• The company launched Google Plus as a social network platform to compete with the likes of Facebook. However due to low usage and some security bugs that were recently discovered, Google+ was shut down in April 2019.
• The latest version of the app is available for download on Android and iOS system. However, the URL plus.google.com will continue to function and automatically redirect users to currents.google.com.
