CUET PG LLM Exam Pattern 2022

National Testing Agency has released the CUET LLM PG exam pattern for the examination along with the information brochure. 

 The CUET PG 2022 dates have been announced and will be conducted from September 1, 2022, to September 11, 2022. NTA will soon release the exam schedules for each course, admit card information, and exam centers for applications taking the CUET PG exam this year. 

Along with gathering the right resources and study material, you must also check the CUET PG LLM Exam Pattern 2022 and syllabus, as they may change occasionally. 

The CUET PG LLM Result 2022 is calculated based on the candidate's performance in the written examination. 

From this year onwards, the universities are going to provide admission in Master of Laws offered by the 21 central and state universities on the basis of the marks scored in the CUET PG entrance exam. 

It is therefore advised to study the CUET PG LLM Exam Pattern 2022 thoroughly before going for the examination. 

  • The CUET PG LLM exam is going to be held online mode.
  • A total of 21 universities are going to participate in the CUET PG LLM Exam selection process.
  • The written exam will have two parts, and part A will have 25 questions from the Aptitude section and the remaining 75 questions from the concerned subject.

CUET PG LLM Exam Pattern

CUET PG LLM exam pattern has been notified on the information brochure released by the NTA earlier. The selection process is going to consist of two rounds, a written exam and a counseling round.   • The CUET PG LLM is going to be held in online mode.
  • The questions asked in the exam will be bilingual, i.e., English and Hindi. However, you have to attempt the paper in only one language only. 
  • The written exam has to be completed in a composite duration of 120 minutes only.

CUET PG LLM Exam Pattern Section Wise Details

THE CUET PG LLM exam pattern is divided into A and B. The first part will have 25 questions, wherein part B will account for 75 questions from domain-specific topics.

CUET PG LLM Marking Scheme

As per the CUET PG exam pattern, the questions in the examination are going to be in the MCQ (multiple choice questions) format. This means the questions have more than four options, and one has to be chosen as the correct answer. 

This marking scheme has to be used to deduce the marks scored in the examination with the help of the answer key. Now, the marks scored in the CUET PG LLM exam are going to play a crucial role in deciding if they stand a chance of getting admission. Hence, the agency has notified a detailed marking scheme for the question paper; check out the space to know more:

  • The authority will award 4 marks for the correct answer marked by the candidate.
  • In case any wrong answer is found in the exam, then 1 mark shall be deducted against it.
  • No marks shall be deducted if any question is left unanswered or has been marked for review.
  • In case the authorities find more than one option against any question to be correct, it will lead to awarding four marks.
  • If all options are correct against any question, it will lead to getting four marks.
  • If the authorities find any question or all the options wrong, then those who attempt that question shall be awarded four marks.

Per the exam information brochure, admission to the LLM course shall be offered by a total of 21 universities in the country. The brochure also states that admission shall be based on the merit scored in the entrance exam.

If you are able to qualify for the cut-off marks of a particular college, only then shall you be called for the counseling round.
