As per the latest announcement made by Delhi University, the registration process for UG courses will start from 02 August 2021 till 31 August 2021.
Due to the current pandemic, the registration fee remains unchanged this year for various courses, the university said in a statement.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the Delhi University Entrance Test (DUET) for various courses. DUET 2021 dates will be announced soon on the official website.
Like last year, students have to visit the exam centre to take an entrance test as NTA will test in a computed based test.
Centralized admissions for UG courses will be made through one registration-cum-application-form. All colleges, excluding Jesus & Mary College and St. Stephen's College, will use the same form for providing admission to various undergraduate courses.
Those willing to apply for Jesus & Mary College and St. Stephen's College must fill a separate application form.
Delhi University has cancelled the Central Universities Common Entrance Test (CUCET) for session 2021, PC Joshi, Vice-Chancellor of DU, announced last month.
Like previous years, Undergraduate merit-based admissions will be based on cut off. The admissions branch is working with the college principals on modalities for deciding cut off for various courses to avoid over and above admissions.
The university will provide admissions for students based on consolidated marks of 12th standards, Delhi University said in a statement.
The following courses are offered through the Delhi University Entrance Test:
Admission to all these courses is provided only through DU JAT (Delhi University Joint Admission Test), an aptitude based exam. You can register for the exam till 31 August 2021.
DU JAT is expected to be conducted in September 2021.
