Age Limit: Candidates who are applying for Executive & Non-Executive Posts the age should be in between 18 to 42 years. However, the persons belonging to the reserved category are given relaxation in age.

• For SC/ST and BC, the age relaxation will be given 5 years
• For Physically Handicapped candidates, the relaxation in age is up to 10 years is given.
• State Govt Employees of AP, a maximum of 5 years is given in age relaxation based on the length of regular service.

APPSC Group 2 Salary Post Wise

Salary and Pay Scale is different for Executive and Non-executive posts. For Executive Posts, starting salary will be around 32,000 Rs and for Non-Executive posts, it will around 28,000 Rs. APPSC Group 2 Selection Process

APPSC conducts screening test and mains examination for the selection process. Candidates have to appear in all the papers of Computer Based Examination/main examination is compulsory. Absence in any of the papers will be disqualified from the selection process.

1.Preliminary Exam

• The Preliminary exam will be conducted for a total of 150 marks.
• Prelims question paper consists of 3 sections.
• The total duration of the Preliminary exam is 150 minutes.
• APPSC Group 2 preliminary exam consists of 150 questions.
• Each Question will be given 1 mark.

Note: Negative marking is applicable in the prelims exam. As per the guidelines of APPSC 1/3 marks will be taken off from the total marks for each wrong answer.

2.Mains Exam

• APPSC Group II Mains written Exam is conducted in objective type.
• This exam will be conducted in 3 papers.
• Each Paper consists of 150 questions for 150 marks.
• Each Paper will be given a time of 150 minutes.

3.Computer Proficiency Test

Candidates who are qualified in the mains exam will have to pass another test i.e computer proficiency test. Knowledge & Usage of computers are tested through this exam.

• This test will be conducted in a practical type.
• Candidates will be given a time of 30 minutes for 50 marks.
• To qualify in this test, candidates have to secure minimum qualifying marks.

How to Fill APPSC Group 2 Application Form

OTPR Registration:

New user who is accessing the APPSC website the first time has to fill One Time Profile Registration Form. In OTPR Form, Candidates have to enter the basic details. After submission of the OTPR Application, a reference ID is generated which aids in making payment of fee and filling of the application form.

Payment of Fee:

Candidates should pay Rs.250/- for the application fee and Rs.80/- towards examination fee. Applicants who belong to SC/ST, PH, Ex-Servicemen are exempted from paying the application fee.

After filling the application form for APPSC Group 2 Notification, candidates can make the payment of a fee through Debit Card/Credit Card/Net Banking.

Process of Filling of APPSC Group 2 Application 2020

• If the processing of payment has successfully happened, now the payment page will automatically be redirected to the APPSC Group 2 Online application form.
• Some details in the application form are automatically retrieved from the OTPR date, and the candidates have to fill the remaining part of the application form.
• After filling the APPSC Group 2 online form, now click on the 'Save' button.
• Now Application Reference ID is generated.
• Note down the Application ID in a safe place for future correspondence.

APPSC Group 2 Answer Key

APPSC Commission will upload the answer key on the official website psc.ap.gov.in after the completion of the APPSC Group II Exam. Users anyone can download the answer key of the Preliminary exam (Screening test) through the APPSC Website. APPSC Group 2 answer key will help the applicants to know the answer to the question that they have attempted in the exam.

• Candidates can raise objections related to answer key within one week after the publication of the answer key for the APPSC Group 2 exam.
• If the candidates send the objections within the due date, the higher officials of APPSC will be discussed with the expert committee for opinion.
• After some days the revised key will be hosted on the commission website.

APPSC Group 2 Cut off Marks

APPSC Commission will set the minimum qualifying marks for all the category candidates. Candidates should secure the minimum qualifying marks for considering into the Selection Process.

• 40% for OCs including Ex-Servicemen and Sportspersons
• 35% for BCs
• 30% for STs, SCs, and PHs or as per APPSC rules
